We the undersigned individuals, representing the indicated groups and interests, as well as ourselves hereby indicate our support and desire for a facility to be developed on City of Merced property that will train and support future Olympians, high school athletes, UC student athletes, law enforcement officers, recreational shooters, Boyscouts, Girlscouts, 4H shooters and hunters in their respected efforts and can be used for local, state and national competitions.
Please sign this petition and endorse, support and direct the City of Merced staff to bring about a facility of national stature that will bring tourism and economic development to our region, build the community, teach safe firearms handling, contribute to American prestige and security, and use City lands and resources that are otherwise being underutilized.
