We the undersigned strongly request you to reconsider the request by 6 of Solano’s cities to adopt a moratorium on the processing of use permits for additional large (over 700 animal) mega-dairies/confined feeding lots.
Mega-diaries/confined feed lots, must comply with Federal and State laws mandating appropriate land use planning, extensive environmental and economic review, and public input. Absent these processes, you can not possibly evaluate the potential negative effects to the safety and property rights of neighbors. |
