Temple Shalom Special Congregational Meeting Call

In view of the creation of a Special Committee of Temple Shalom to explore the retention of Shirah Lipson as a full-time cantor, and questions that have arisen in connection thereto,

We, the undersigned members of Temple Shalom, hereby request that a Special Meeting of the congregation be held pursuant to Article IV, Section 2 of the Temple by-laws, for the purposes of learning: 1) how the need for a full-time cantor was determined; 2) how such a position would be funded, and 3) the process by which a new cantor will be selected.
