you kill this turd, you grind him up alive, you feed him to the prison cats, and when the cats shit him out, you send that shit to his mama. that's as close to justice as you'll get. |
| 303 | O | S | TX | US | Kill this fucker. Michael was a great person whose untimely death was a result of these dumbasses disrespect for human life. Kill them all. |

| 309 | Ray | Gossard | TX | | But for the grace of God there go I. Gov. Perry. Please stop the machine! Do not allow this young man to be the next victim of the madness. Do not allow him to be executed because "that is just the way we do things in Texas." |

| 311 | daniel | baldwin | CO | US | Do you ever , ever wonder if you have executed an innocent person ? If you haven't then you are surely in denial. |
| 312 | Les | Brown | TX | US | Mauriceo MaShawn Brown is completely innocent of capital murder. No one is trying to absorb him form any responsibility in Mr. Lahood's death. However, being a passenger in the car, with no intentions of murdering or robbing Mr. Lahood, and for whatever reasons one of the other persons in that car decided to take Mr. Lahood's life, should mean that this is the person whom should lose his life, not Mauriceo MaShawn Brown! Anyone familiar with the transcripts of the trial, know how completely ludicrous this so called trial was. And I only pray that you'll institute a stay of execution, so as to prevent another innocent person being killed by the state of Texas, because sooner than later, one of us, somewhere, sometime soon, will be able to bring the truth out. I can assure you it's not a mere coincidence that the items the defence team desired to utilized at Mauriceo's latest appeal for DNA testing, suddenly came up missing. And the prosecutions' assertions that no one has any idea as to where they're at, such as the actual murder weapon, GSR reports, and specific clotheing, is just as ludicrous! |
| 313 | Mark | Stiers | TX | AE | This is not justice. How can you convict him based on the evidence? |
| 314 | Maria | Brehm | | DE | Death penalty only causes more victims - please spare Mauriceo's life. |
| 315 | SHERRECE | WAGNER | TX | US | PLEASE STOP THIS KILLING OF MAURICEO BROWN |
| 316 | William | Roberts | | GB | Please spare this innocent mans life |
| 317 | Pastor John | Wood | TX | US | When will we realize that making more victims is not closure, it is opening more wounds. Leagalized Murder is NOT the answer. Oh and where is the help for the NOW VICTIMS the STATE just made? May God Bless and Keep all of you in His Open Arms. |
| 318 | Anonymous | Anonymous | | GB | Please dont do this, its not right. I thought Texas was supposed to be a religious state with God fearing people. Where is the christianity in killing someone, someone whose guilt you cannot even be 100 % certain of. No matter how this modern world works, God is the real judge and we are all accountable to him. Murder is murder it doesnt matter who commits it. The death penalty is murder. pre meditated murder.
Mauriceo brown is a good person and a good friend of mine, he isnt a bad person and his words of advice and encouragement has helped me through some hard dark times, so please dont do this, not only do you prematurely end a life but what about the people who love him, you punish them too. What about his son? I would strongly urge you to reconsider this extreme and unjustifiable action, at least allow him a fair trail, he never had a fair trial. |

| 322 | my | name | TX | US | Oh please! These murderers deserve what they get. There's almost no rules to our society and yet this nitwits found a way to make themselves a threat to all of us. They can't be trusted and executing them is the least we can do (we really should torture them like they do the innocent people they murdered). The only problem with the Death Penalty is that we don't use it more often. Enjoy Hell reprobates!! |
| 323 | Kelly | Wentzel | WA | US | It is my earnest belief that this case should be re-evaluated before Mauriceo Brown is put to death. |
| 324 | Sandra | Cugier | | CH | Les, I know you are the brother of Mauriceo! Please tell your mother that I wrote her (email)...
Save Mauriceo's life! |
| 325 | Wayne | Buente | IN | US | I just read about this man's story and I do not believe this individual committed these crimes. I believe this individual did not receive a fair trial. Death penalty is not warranted in this case. |

| 327 | Zach | Smith | AL | US | This is rediculous to convict a man on the basis of others possible false testimony. Evidence apparently proves he did not pull the trigger, yet by being in the vicinity he is guilty. Texas once again is simply using a scapegoat. This to me is a much more heinous crime. I am ashamed to be a part of the same country that allows politicians and judiciary process that leads to this. Maybe the government should rethink and evaluate this situation. Maybe you should focus on the way you handle your border patrol. Who is really the killer? Goodluck and Godspeed to Mauriceo Brown. |

| 335 | A Killer is dead | Amen | TX | US | Mauriceo is dead and justice is served. Instead of talking about Mauriceo let's talk about MIKE LAHOOD. He was a kind, caring, and respectful person. Even to this day it is hard to understand how something so horrible could have happened to some one so kind. Mauriceo on the other hand was a killer. Even if he did not pull the trigger, as he said he did, he was still guilty by Texas law. He and his friends made a night of driving around and robbing people at gun point. Unfortunately, for MIKE LAHOOD, the last robbery of the night went bad. If he was such a good person he would have surely gotten out of the car long before MIKE was shot point blank in the face. Killing Mauriceo will not bring back MIKE but it does make the world a little bit safer. Let's not forget that Mauriceo confessed to this crime. So let's not condem the State of Texas for a job well done. Instead let's remember MIKE LAHOOD. Let's pray for the LAHOOD family who never saw the man MIKE was to become. Whose lives were changed by animals with no regard for life. MIKE LAHOOD is the one who didn't deserve to die. Burn in hell Mauriceo. |
| 336 | Mauerico's Queen | Brown | | | To the last person who signed this petition your ingorance is really shining through. You claim by law he would have been died anyhow because he was in the car if that was in fact true the others that was in the car family would be feeling the same pain and hurt as us. By law and by moral ethics you would have thought you would have wanted to know the truth about who shoot Mr.Lahood because it wasn't Mauriceo. I'm sure make was a great person but killing my KING is not going to bring Mr. Lahood back nor is it going to solve the case. Have you every took time out to read his case before you bothered to say justice has been served. If you would have you would have worried how did Dillard another man in the car not even get charged in this case. You would have also wonder how could all of the DNA be on this man Dillard if he wasn't the trigger man. Not only is it odd but now he is in jail for someone elses murder that happen two weeks before Mr. Lahood. Not only that lets bring up the fact that Ms. Patrick's ID Dillard as the killer and not Mauriceo. So before you sign this petition again with your disrespectful comments learn the real facts not the fact that the media wants you to hear because they don't tell you the whole story or ask Ms. Patrick's what really happen to your loved one. What I do know is that two innocent mans life have been taking away Shawn's and Mr. Lahood! Killing Shawn doesn't not bring Mr.Lahood back and it doesn't resolve the hurt and pain the Lahood's have already gone through and now have to relive. Mauriceo my KING, I LOVE YOU and may your soul rest in God's heavenly kingdom. To everyone who signed this page with love and concern thank you. |

| 341 | Two People are Dead | No One Wins | TX | | Queen,
I take no pleasure in knowing your loved one is gone. Mr. Brown's death doesn't do anything but bring closure. I do, however, feel sorry for you. It is sad and unfortunate that you gave your love to someone with so little respect for life. To someone who thought it was ok to rob people while sticking a gun in their face. Mr. Brown made the choice to participate in this killing.
I've read the transcripts to Mr. Brown's interviews and am appalled that someone with a newborn child can find the time to drive around in the middle of the night robbing people at gun point. He wanted to be a good father? He wanted to "be there" for his child? To bad it took death row for him to realize these things. If he was thinking about his family that night MIKE LAHOOD would be alive today.
Maybe Mr. Dillard pulled the trigger, maybe not. According to his own testimony Mr. Brown pulled the trigger. Either way Mr. Dillard is locked up for the rest of his life. I am aware of Ms. Patrick initially identifying Mr. Dillard as the shooter but she was traumatized. Remember she had just witnessed MIKE LAHOOD getting shot in the face. Who wouldn't be traumatized? Again, legally, all the men in that car participated in MIKE LAHOOD's murder because they all agreed to a night of robbing people at gunpoint. To say that they were done robbing people when MIKE just happened to get shot by THEM is ridiculous. They all deserve the death penalty. Hopefully Mr. Foster's execution will be the final chapter in this sad series of events.
Again, I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure you, me, and countless others wish Mr. Brown had made some different decisions that August night. Had he, two families and those close to them would not be in the pain they are in today. I pray for you and your family as well as the LAHOOD family. I hope you do as well. |

| 344 | Cynthia | Luckey | TX | US | To all of you that believed in my son, thank you. To my son's Queen, thank you for loving my son. For the rest of you that had negative comments to make, I pray for you. No one knows what tomorrow may bring, and God knows I hope this never falls in your back yard. No one is perfect, so I hope that all of you have your houses in order. My son is at peace with God. He is at home with the Lord and will never be hurt again. You see, what some of you stupid,m niave people dont understand, the state did not kill my son, God took his child home. As long as this world is equipped with narrow minded people that do not seek the truth, but only revenge, no one will ever be at peace. Thank you all for taking the time to sign this petition, whether it was negative or positive, you still signed it. Next thing, if you feel so strongly about your opinion, dont sign it annoynmous or with some stupid name, be a man or woman about it and sign your own name. You do not and will not have to answer to me or my family, but you will have to answer to God. I pray for the LaHood family as well as myself and my family because we both have lost a loved one. |

| 346 | April | Thompson | NJ | US | Ms. luckey,
I had the pleasure of corresponding with your beautiful son Mauriceo. We started writing eachother in May 2006. i wrote him to let him know that i signed his petition and was praying that his life would be spared. Mauriceo and i went on to become pen pals in the last month of his life. I only recieved three letter in total from him and I cherish each and ever one of them. Mr. Luckey, your son was bright and he always put a smile on my face when i though life was treating me bad. he always was willing to give me advice about my own troubled son and gave me stregnth to carry on and not to give up on him. When I knew his execution day was coming, i prayed for him more than i;ve ever prayed before. Since I;d sent him a birthday card a week before I wasn't expecting anything from him since I knwe he had things to get in order so when his excecution came and went I cried harder than ever. two days later i got a purple envelope in the mail and it was from Mauriceo. Before even opening the letter I couldn't control my tears. he sent me a beautiful picture of himself. he thanked me for offering my friendship to and asked me to keep hip picture in a safe place. That safe place will be my bible. I thank GOD for introducing me to such a sweet soul. i will miss those perfectly typed letters and always keep Mauriceo in my heart. You had to know Mauriceo to know Maurceo! he was brilliant! And he will never, ever be forgotten! |
