I am most disappointed in that my 10 month old daughter, who I intended to take to basketball games, on-campus events, and instill Marquette pride in, will inevitably turn to me in a few years and ask why I am proud of an entity that calls itself 'the Gold'. |

The decision to approve the Gold as mascot of Marquette was a bad one, but it's not too late. Please take the steps necessary to restore Warrior-pride. While the Indian head can't come back (which I disagree with, but that ship has sailed), surely a marketing firm could come up with something representative of the university, students, & alumni.
Please do the right thing, dump the Gold, and restore the Warrior.
