I am writing this because for about the past year now, Chicago Cub Fans have been rallying around the rumor that you might be interested in buying the Chicago Cubs. We fans want you to know that you have our full support. The fans of the Chicago Cubs would love you as an owner and you will not find more loyal, or more critical fans. They will let you know when you are doing great and they will let you know when they are displeased. Wrigley Field is an icon in baseball and the fans appreciate it more than anyone else. I promise, if you make the acquisition of the Chicago Cubs you will never be more happy with the results. You will come to love the Chicago Cubs as much as we do. Win or lose the fans have always been there for their team and in full force. There are always packed houses and a lot of fun. There have been too many heartaches and the time has come for a change. I have sat on the web boards and listened to the Cub fans. They are ready for the change and welcome it. Everyone seems to think you are the ideal candidate to make the purchase and do something for the Cubs to put them on the path to greatness where they belong. The Chicago Cubs should be the powerhouse of the NL and instead they are the butt of the jokes. Please, Mr. Cuban, we as Cub fans are begging you to buy the Chicago Cubs and turn them around with your team magic. The Mavericks have made an awesome turn around with you at the wheel and we believe that the same thing could happen for the Cubs. I mean what better way to immortalize a man like you then for you to take the Chicago Cubs to their first WORLD SERIES VICTORY since 1908!
