I have made my transition to the middle left out of disenchantment from the Bush Administration and their fabrications and deceptions. We have lost all good standing in the international community and Iraq is the largest disaster in recent history. This administration thought we could just dispose a dictator and plop a democracy in his place. This is flawed because they did not do their homework regarding the fierce secterian division amongst that country, and realize that they were not ready nor had the infrastructure for a democratic government. In closing the neo-conservative view that believes in going around the world and pre-emptively disposing countries in which we do not see eye to eye with must be stopped. The War on Terror should be a police and intelligence gathering operation around the world, and occasionally military when an imminent threat is recognized. I wish I could help out more in politics, but at this stage in my life playing college football, just about all I can do is hope and pray for one like Mark Warner to run and help restore the good name of our country and end this terrible and failed foreign policy of the Bush Administration and the neo-conservatives.
