2 Mary Ann SottungI took both of my "girls" to the vet this morning to have them checked because they both eat Nutro natural beef chunks. They are showing no signs of being sick so I thought this would ease my mind. I no sooner returned home with my "girls" when the vet called and told me to bring them right back. They are now in the hospital on Iv and anitbiotics. Please God let them be ok. I prey I cought it in time. add my name to the petition!
3 lisathis is absolutely nuts, a company gets something good going for them and bamb they decide lets try something new, well that something new ends up costing us out loved ones, animals arent just animals to some of us they are out "children" i sign this in loving memery of "Meanne" meanne died February 22,2007 after eating her favorite Special Kitty food, if things would have been left alone my children would not have to hug and kiss her from her new home up on my matel, how many people must lose their loved ones by doing what they should and feeding there animals their favorite foods, i wish that the company should be forced to see what we saw when our loved kitty passed away, that would be a reality check to all to leave all be, saving a few pennies cost as all too much!
4 Marie CareyI purchased your products in good faith that they would a be safe and healthy food for my cats and not something that now is going to cost hundreds of dollars in medical care, not to mention the pain and suffering. It seems the almighty dollar is more important than the health and welfare of not only the poor helpless cats and dogs, but also of the owners. It makes me fear now to EVER trust in any of your products and will no longer purchase them and will pass this along to everyone I know that has a pet.

10 Sheila ColvinWe have a one year old Tonkinese cat that has eaten Nutro Natural Choice pouches since 12 weeks old. He got very ill beginning of March, vomiting, stopped eating, letharic. Took him to vet numerous times, we were told he was in renal failure. WE have incurred approx $1000 in vet bills in the past 2 weeks. The vets had no idea what happened to him, Now we know. I am very angry that the food I was feeding him - supposively a high end food, poisoned my baby and we almost had to put him down. Luckily, he recovered. I am very intereseted in getting my money back that I had to pay for his vet bills due to the fact that NUTRO poisoned him. Sheila Colvin
11 Mary DabneyI lost my two year old Pomeranian on 3/15/07. One week prior to her death from acute renal failure, she ate 3 pouches of the AIMS select bites on the recall list. My vet bills total over $2,000 and my pedigree dog cost $900. No amount of money can replace her and her death was unecessary.
12 KathrynI not only work in the pet industry, but I was affected by this tradgedy. I am a manager @ PetSmart and I have seen how badly this is hurting not only our poor babies.... but us; we are all emotional wrecks... this is unnacceptable!!!! My poor baby Hydee may be sick because of this crap

16 Patricia Corroda-McClellanOur 4 1/2 German Shepherd has been on Nuto Natural ever since he started eating dog food. The numbers on the can food matched the recalled numbers. Naturally I have stopped the food and called the vet, but what really makes me mad is in the beginning while testing was being done the public wasn't made aware of this. Many, many more dog and cats have died.......not just 10! And don't get me wrong, 1 is too many!

24 amy uggianoas i sit here with a can of the tainted food in my hand i am praying that i did not feed any others to my dogs...the watching and waiting is the hardest part...i am appalled that the carelessness of the pet food industry has lead to this tragedy...and the response of some of the stores to remove the poisoned food off the is just baffling..you cannnot put a monetary label on the loss of a pet but vet bills are adding up and there are many people walking around with a hole in their hearts and their pockets...never again will i buy any of these foods nor will i shop at the stores like price choppers that after 2 days still did not remove the products from it's shelves..

26 AnonymousMY MALE WHITE PERSIAN CAT ..ONLY ATE IAM WET FOOD THE CHICKEN AND BEEF AND RICE....IN LESS THAN 12 HOURS FELL EXTREMELY ILL ...KIDNEY FAILURE ..FOR OVER A WEEK ON IVS AND MEDS...THEY NEVER SAW SUCH AN EXTREM CASE...NOT ONLY THE VET BILL BUT THE STRESS....IT WAS HORRIBLE...I HOPE SOMETHING IS DONE...I AM A BREEDER TOO...THANKS PATRICK VIOLA...I HAVE MY RECETS FROM KROGERS AND THE BILLS FROM MY VETS.....THANKS

32 Michele StanczakMy dog has been sick for 2 weeks now, not eating, drinking lots of water and constantly licking herself. I now found out I had given her the tainted wet can and pouch food!!! I pray now that she will get better. I brought her to the vet for blood work and urine test.

34 AnonymousWe were forced to put our best friend Ana to sleep last month. She became very sick ie stopped eating,drinking. Ana lost 10 lbs in 10 days and lost her ability to get up. We carried her to our vet who suggested she be put out of her misery. We changed her diet from a purina dry to a special cuts in gravy from Walmarts. She started getting sick just after Christmas.

Besides taking a name and phone number Menu foods needs reps that know what the hell they are doing besides leaving to someone else to figure out. My extremely healthy cat had kidney failure due to the pouch cat food "Special Kitty". This is my baby!!! What if it where Mr. Paul Henderson's child that the baby food was recalled. Would he not what answers and compensated for the trouble, hundreds of dollars in medical bills, and the mental and emotional hell that he would go through? Come on be human and give the help and answers us pet owners want and need!!!!!

48 LinetteI have not lost any pets with these foods but I am outraged about this. I do purchase one the brands listed. my dogs have been sick a couple times in the last month and they are doing alright now. But to think my pets could be KILLED by something that is suposed to be safe!!
49 AnonymousI am lucky enough to not have been affected by this. However I do have pets of my own and they are my babies,my other children. Therefore my heart does go out to all who have lost theirs. It is not right and there should be consequences for their actions. I am sorry for all of your losses. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
