We are asking that proper consideration be given to the adjacent residential neighborhood when planning the Sutter Health Medical Offices building to be located in the 400 block of West Eaton Ave., Tracy, California.

We feel that Sutter Health has not taken the input from the neighborhood into consideration when developing their final plans for submittal to the City of Tracy. Although we would prefer that a building of this size not be placed in our neighborhood, it would be more acceptable if the following recommendations could be incorporated in the final plans.

1. The new building shall be placed at the corner of Bessie and Eaton, so that a pedestrian can enter from the sidewalk.

2. The trash enclosure, ambulance services, delivery doors shall be placed to minimize the impact to the adjacent residential neighborhood.

3. The existing large "heritage" oak tree shall be saved. It should be incorporated into the design as a focal point (possibly landscaping - seating - pond). All the mature trees on site should be considered a community asset.

4. The proposed building shall be sized to fit its site. All the parking for the building shall be located on site, not across the street. A parking lot across the street is unsafe and will adversely impact the homes that are adjacent to it.
