The members of the official AA priority committee wish to counter the proposal brought down by the Chairman of the Board, Jerry Chan, that wishes to accept "Magmonday" only as an afterward to "a particularly heavy 'Magunday Night'" We reject this rediculous idea. CLEARLY the day after Magunday is in fact ALWAYS Magmonday, under any and all circumstances, regardless of the previous nights' level of debauchery. "Mondaylia" has also been rejected by the committee numerous times in the past for obvious reasons. Furthermore, I'm sure you will agree that "Second Magunday" and "Magnunday" are equally unsuitable. This petition has been started (already with majority support from the board members, AA priority consumer advocacy groups, and members of the Magnolia District general public) motioning the removal of all other official terms for this day EXCEPT Magmonday. We hope all local members of the Magnolia District will join us in the support of this pressing issue. One day simply cannot have four official titles. As we all know, it is difficult enough for AA priority members to keep track of the days of the week, and this needless added confusion is an outrage. As a constituents of the Magnolia District, we urge you to sign this petition and pass it along to other members of the community. Thank you. |
