I'm not a console gamer... I will nerver be... I tryed madden/ncaa on xbox/xbox360 console and I did not see aby reason to switch from the pc version to the console...

| 10 | StormsWarning | StormsWarning@hotmail.com- Notice i signed this Mr.Moore with my use to be gametag, for xbl, why it used to be? well because i canceled my membership, im sure as preseident of a gamin company you wouldnt understand why things like this is poping up in ya email, or desktop, well the pc market is very large, and to be honest i dont doubt you know that, because you wouldnt be going after FPS, on the pc, my question is since you truly have the options to make sport titles on the pc, why dont you? pc in todays market are alot more powerful than consoles, and deep you know it. it must be the company knows they just might loose buiness on there consoles vs the pc, and they cant do that right? mvp baseball, madden, nba live, nhl are very big on the community and thx to you, you've just destroyed it, thx alot!, but ya know what, that want stop the boat, yeh you may have canceled future releases, but can you cancel excel data base sheets, noped! can you cancel modding tools noped, so i say people hit them where it hurts, cancel your xbl accounts, for ppl that own pc's, yeh you'll miss out on a few games that arn't on pc, but really after the glitter and gold affect wheres off, your stuck with the same ol same ol flash, you've upset alot of ppl with this move, and i for one will nto support this company as a gamin company any longer, i will for the pc, but guess what, you arn't in charge of actualy Microsoft applications, just the games and i will never support you or that company on that side of the wall ever again, until, they same proper support is shown to the pc community. |

Les animo a que encuentren nuevas formulas, para retomar la serie, y poder disfrutar de nuevo de esta saga, en el mismo soporte y medio en el que nos ha promovido tan buenos momentos.

The PC versions are more verstaile, allow customized graphics, rosters, etc. that are not possible with console versions. Unless there is a significant improvement in console versions, so that it "upgrades" to previous current-gen versions, I will NOT be buying Madden this year! |

Don't believe the hype guys. Madden NFL 2009 PC will be developed as scheduled. Peter is against it, but we (EA) will overrule him. Presidency is not what it used to be. He has to convince us that dropping Madden '09 PC is a lucrative business move. With that being said, the answer will undoubtedly be in favor of keeping the PC counterpart.
A few of you guys have already stated that this situation is about money. I couldn't have said it better myself. From a development/production standpoint, Madden PC generates enough money to take care of itself. Currently, we are in the process of developing Madden PC on an entirely new engine. All of the hard work that we have put into this project will not be done away with. I can assure you of that.
While this is an attempt to deter piracy of the game, all it truly does is create chaos throughout the PC gaming community. Keeping some of our most loyal fans in suspense by flat out lying to them is not the proper way to handle theft.
You guys must know that we are very aware of the piracy issue. Not only are we aware of it, we have also factored in the type of impact piracy has on a global scale. It shouldn't be a shocker to know that Madden is copied and distributed across multiple platforms. The PC is not alone in this respect as the PS2, XBOX, GameCube, Wii, XBOX 360, PSP, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS all have copies of Madden readily available for download from various websites. It truly doesn't matter which platform has the largest amount of pirated games. Each illegally shared game hurts the development of Madden. Piracy will not end over night, but we will continue to do the best that we can to prevent it.
I can only imagine how ashamed Trip is of this man. |
