We the students of the Levittown Public School District, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Petition of the students of MacArthur
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all students are born equal. In this natural state of equalness we demand to be treated fairly. Fairly in the sense that there will be no cruel and unusual punishment which we are protected from under the eighth amendment.
In the wake of recent events involving homework and term papers we are now united to write up this document to ban the following items:
1) Homework
2) Term-Papers (and Essays and Thesis Papers)
3) Foreign Langauge Classes
We also demand the following things:
1) Decrease in the amount of hours students spend in school each day
2) Amount of snow days not to interfere with the number of our days off in the spring |
