| 64 | Craig F | As a Marquette alumni, and even as a Democrat, I'm completely dismayed by the planned protest against ROTC. I have close friends that went through that program and am very proud of what they bring to the Marquette community. |

We all benefit from the sacrifices men and women make through our armed forces. ROTC and the military give people an opportunity for not only a career, but funding for an education.
I support the ROTC program and our military. Shame, shame, shame on those who don't! |
| 69 | Nicholas L. Glaser | The ROTC program is not only patriotic, but an essential part of the MU experience for many students. |
| 70 | Kelsea Borg | Thank you to all the members of Marquette University ROTC. I appreciate everything that you do to keep our country safe and to keep the freedom we have worked so hard to gain. Lastly, I would like to say that I am the very proud fiancée of a member of the Marquette ROTC and I will continue to stand beside him and support him through his military career. Thank you all! |

| 73 | Anonymous | As an alum and parent of a student about to graduate in Dec 07, I'm disgusted by the actions to remove ROTC. My father served in WWII, and I'm a proud member of the ladies auxiliary. Agree or disagree on the war, but this program is valuable for both the ROTC students AND the University. |

| 77 | Margaret Kasimatis | I am a Marquette mom and tuition payer. I expect Marquette to preserve freedom of choice in this matter. |

ROTC does not support or work against the war, it is a voluntary training program for those that choose to do it, and choose to serve. They are ordered by the commander in chief into battle, with the endorcement of the congress. If you want to protest something, lets get together, liberals, conservatives and everyone in between, to protest the incompetence and waste in Washington, in Madison, and right here in Milwaukee government. Shutting down ROTC at MU will not stop the war, but it will infringe upon the rights of students who do want to pursue a professional career in the military. In addition, ROTC is a valuable option for students to attend MU (and many other expensive private colleges) that otherwise would not have the opportunity.
To the brave soldiers, airmen, sailors, and of course marines in training at MU, god bless and thank you. And to the future marines... SEMPER FI!! |

| 88 | Robert Marriott | Once again, "peace-loving" protesters attack the soldiers, which in this case are all volunteers, trying to get an education, instead of the politicians that created the mess. ROTC is a vital tool for many students to get an excellent education at MU, and for many a noble career for those that want to serve their country.
Go ahead and protest. The men and women of our armed forces lead by officers trained in ROTC programs at fine schools like Marquette will continue to protect your right to protest. |

| 90 | Christine Bestor | The appropriate way to protest the war in Iraq is NOT to protest the ROTC's existence. |

| 95 | John C Carnell | ROTC has a rich history at Marquette University. The individuals who are part of represent some of the best and brightest that have come through Marquette University.
Closing this program would be a travesty and would guarantee that I, a past alumni, would be ashamed to have my name associated with Marquette University. |
| 96 | David Zajac | As a graduate Marquette student I whole hartedly support the ROTC on the Marquette campus. |
