The petition

As all of you may know there is only 1800+ University/Community College members of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges consortium in the U.S. that have agreed to consider military training credits appropriate to transfer to particular degrees.

You'll find a list of these colleges (organized by state) Web site www.soc.aascu.org

Hundreds of thousands of servicemembers, civilian employees of DOD,the Military Services including the National Guard, the Coast Guard,Veterans and family members enroll annually at Universities or Community Colleges to broaden their education.

Unfortunately, less than 1 in 3 institutes in the U.S. DO NOT accept military training credits through The American Council on Education(ACE)as transferrable college credits. The reason being, they have not signed up to be members of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges.

The American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT) connects workplace learning with colleges and universities by helping adults gain access to academic credit for formal courses and examinations taken outside traditional degree programs.

Please help me petition the following college to become a member of "Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges". This in return will open the door for our military members to transfer to this college with recognition of their military training credits.
