I'm a lot like Glenn; from the north, of German origin... But scapegoating of the south is reminiscant of the same scapegoating of Germans. Our culture has no doubt been bullied, for for Beck to go off and do the same thing to the South just proves what a scumbag he is.

However, I read some morons accused Lynyrd Skynyrd of being drug heads, How about the song, "That Smell"? If you listen to the lyrics of the song, you will understand that this song is clearly anti-drugs, but, it's also a song that is something they experienced and overcame. the song says, When the angel of darkness is upon you, it is a warning of the dangers. They overcame their addiction. Speaking from personal experience, it says a lot about their character. Saturday Night Special speaks about gun control. Furthermore, the civil war was not fought solely about slavery. The history books contain what the government wants you to believe it was fought over. It was about taxation, government control, slavery, etc. Similiar like the Bush administration today, like lying to the American People about the intelligence regarding reasons going to war, the Patriot Act, illegal wire tapping. The Confederate Flag to a lot of Southerners has nothing to do with racism. All my Black friends say that the could give a rat's ass about that flag.
