This is a test to see how many people are cooperative and will work with their other grade students, to undue the new rules against the Juniors (11th Graders) from leaving campus for lunch. It 1986 the Junior Class walked out on the school after passing a RULE against the Juniors from leaving campus at all during school hours, and the day after they did that on the 1st day of school, the school board had a meeting with the board of administrators and PTA, which later that week heard the voice of every student, and undue the RULE. We as the students are not saying we have to drive at lunch, but we ask the school for our freedom to at least be allowed out at lunch. They have not agreed to that as a settlement now it is our choice to take things into our hands and do what the Juniors of 86' did. Is it fair we have been waiting for this day, and have it stolen from us? I don't think so. We plan on conducting a WALKOUT on Wednesday September 3rd at 7th Period. |
