Anonymous | Anonymous | My Grandmother watched ATWT, my Mother watched ATWT and now I have begun to watch ATWT again because of the Luke and Noah story. They are the reason that I have been tuning in daily once again. Please treat them as you would any other couple on the show and give them the screen time that they deserve.

David D | david13546@hotmail.com | I joined the ATWT fanbase purely because of the Luke & Noah storyline. I have peripherally become somewhat interested in Lily/Holden/Dusty stuff, but I don't watch the show for that. I generally watch the show only on days when I have a confirmed showing of Luke & Noah.

Paulette Young | p.young1@att.net | The Luke and Noah story is making history and I am grateful to P&G for having the courage in making this story happen. I've always bought P&G products and now it's even better to know that I am giving money to a company that is not homophobic.

Jamilla Geter | ceruleandreams@faded-oblivion.net | I have been a long time viewer of ATWT, having watched with my gran for many years. I even remember when characters such as Will, Jen and Luke were born on the show. I stopped watching in 2004 though I kept up with what happened via the recaps. Luke is my reason for returning to ATWT. It was my interest in his coming out story that drew me to it, and the clip of the kiss between Luke and Noah made me a viewer again. I have been watching faithfully ever since. Van Hansis is by far one of the best actors to come out of daytime, and Jake Silbermann is amazing as well. The story as played by these actors is superb and I for one am enjoying their love story. My only disappointment is the lack of affection shown between the characters. I know there are viewers in the target audience who may not appreciate such things, but anything else ends up cheapening the incredible story you are trying to tell. These two teenagers falling in love is a beautiful thing, thats what needs to be conveyed. They are more than just two guys. They are teenagers falling in love for the first time and there are us viewers who want to see that. Luke and Noah have the potential to be one of the best supercouples...the chemistry between Van and Jake is smoking hot...lets not let it go to waste.

Anonymous | Anonymous | I personally feel that Luke and Noah aren't treated as a valid couple. In the show several times, it is said that Luke and Noah's characters don't want to be treated special as a homosexual couple, though that is the way they are being treated. Maybe not special, but different. Please give them the same attention you would any other couple. Let them be affectionate, let them carry the story, let them have their difficulties...that's what they deserve.
Anonymous | Anonymous | I am so impressed that this kind of story is finally being told on a mainstream soap. It is touching, inspiring and has the power to change hearts and minds. You let these characters kiss once-- that was a powerful moment. But since then-- not at all. I realize you are in a tough spot with a potentially polarizing storyline. But look at polls nationwide concerning attitudes toward gays and you'll realize you are not giving the public enough credit. ABC's prime time series "Brothers and Sisters" has high ratings, critical acclaim, and same-sex affection that is realistic. Please do the same for daytime television. Thanks for all you have done so far. Please don't let all your courage in airing this relationship go to waste by neutering it and draining it of credibility.

Rene | mr_cool1228@hotmail.com | I began watching ATWT because of the Nuke scenes, even though I have school and get home 10 minutes before the show ends, I still manage to watch the show since i record it, bust mostly because of their scenes; I support this storyline 100%

Casey Temple | writingmonday@gmail.com | As someone who has taught many students who are questioning their orientation, I am struck by how grateful they have been to find Luke/Noah on As The World Turns. However, my students have also asked me why it is that these two characters do not touch, do not show affection, do not show have the carelessness about their relationship that others do. My students and I want to see an honest portrayal of relationship, one that the station is not ashamed of showing. Teach my students to walk with pride and not be afraid to express affection. Teach my students that love comes in all shapes, sizes, colors and orientations. Teach my students that holding hands and kissing and even sex, if you are gay, is as easy as if you are straight. Teach my students pride.

Anonymous | Anonymous | Luka and Noah story is AMAZING!!!
Michele Lapinski | empressmish@yahoo.com | I had not really watched As The World Turns in many years until a bout with the flu put me at home from work for nearly a week in October. During that time I got caught up in Noah and Luke's story and have become an avid fan. I scoured YouTube for past episodes so that I could see it from the beginning, and every week day I check the CBS ATWT website to read the synopsis and view the daily stream. This storyline has so much potential and got off to such a great start that its just such a shame that it would be left to die. Ratings obviously aren't the problem, just fear. ATWT has a chance to offer a storyline that no other daytime drama has -- a chance to break away from the staid storylines of adultery, baby switching and extortion. While these themes are a central part of daytime drama, so are relationships; and the relationship between Noah and Luke should be allowed to grow and develop just as any other. The fans want it and deserve it.

Craig Adams | atlcraig2004@yahoo.com | Although I do not normally watch soap operas, it was because I did not see my life reflected onscreen. For the first time, I do see it with Luke and Noah, and I appreciate your giving them as much screen time as possible.
