The arguments, the love stories, the deceit, the fights - its all be the same. I literally STUMBLED across this story line on the internet, and I dont even remember how. But I started watching it, probably because I'm gay and Luke & Noah are about as hot as the come. But as I kept watching it, I actually got into the story. The characters are real, the story line is real, and it expresses feelings that I have that no one could understand unless they watched this show. I started watching two days ago and literally spend every day at www.dailymotion.com where the first seventy episodes are posted, cutting out the parts of the episodes not relating to Luke & Noah.

To those whom this petition is directed, this is a piece of true video art, that captures everything that is true, good, bad, positive, and trying, about the lifestyle that is homosexuality. This is something I wish I could take home to my parents and make them watch, so that they could understand the life that I live every day, because clearly my explanation did not cut it. I've laughed and cried with these characters and got to know them like they were real people. Because somewhere out there, there are guys just like them. And the major representation of society needs to see and understand to the fullest how we live from moment to moment, and if it takes their favorite t.v. show to do it, then so be it. With the financial and political world in turmoil as it is, do we really have the time as leaders and citizens to go around judging our neighbors by who they choose to love and how they choose to love them. There are SO many other things that we could be directing our time, energy, and resources towards. It is time to face the cold hard facts that until this issue is resolved, we will continue to fight this modern day civil rights movement, because thats exactly what it is. Just because someone makes you uncomfortable, it does not give you the right to preach right and wrong to them and dictate their world. Keep this story going, show this relationship to the fullest, force America to come to terms with its selfish, narrow-minded, dictatorial attitude and realize that the world does not revolve around any single ideal, any one lifestyle, any one social status. In fact, I think this story should be taken beyond the confines of ATWT. But what can I say, this is just one opinion out of millions.

This couple on As the World Turns is great for viewers to see. It shows that gay couples are the same as straight couples. It gives gay people a chance to relate to the show as many straight people have done with other shows. And its also a great story line! By taking Luke and Noah off the air it will hurt the show and it will dissapoint a lot of people as they are intrigued by this couple. Please keep them on the air because it is a great story line and is one of the things I look forword to watching everyday.
