| 252 | Sheila Boyle | reilaroo13@gmail.com | I have watched As The World Turns for eight years now. I have also watched Days of Our Lives for 14 years. In this time period, I have liked many soap couples. However, Luke and Noah are my favorite couple. Their romance is sweet and hopeful. They are honest and caring with each other. I would like to see them express their feelings more with words and actions. They have never hugged on the show. They've kissed twice and held hands on several occasions. Luke and Noah are not being portrayed as any other soap couple. Heterosexual couples kiss all the time and jump into bed without any real feelings involved. It would be wonderful to see Luke and Noah acting like a so-called "normal" couple. It is almost 2008. Its time for people to realize gay couples are as normal as straight couples. They deserve equal airtime and physical expression of their love. |
| 253 | Avary Gray | avagrayce@gmail.com | Thank you for your consideration of this petition and for this storyline to begin with. |
| 254 | Harold Levine | hslev@aol.com | Please -- let them show some real physical affection. This is a great story line. Let it blossom! |

| 256 | Miguel Angel Villalpando | mav19_1999@yahoo.com | I think that since gays are an obivous part of society I think that it is only fair for them to have an equal amount of time on television as well. Homosexuals are human beings and deserve the amount respect just as heterexuals get. |

| 262 | Shawanda Deck | sayanything11@yahoo.com | I would love to see this relationship handled in the way that it began. I was drawn into this storyline because of how Luke and Noah were portrayed and the care in which it seemed the writers were dealing with their developing relationship. However, as the relationship progressed, we have seen a decrease in not only airtime but in what these two guys are allowed to do in showing their affection. It is sadly, not portrayed in a way other relationships are giving freedom to do and that in and of itself...makes a statement. |

| 265 | Rick Freeman | info@rickfreeman.org | It was Van Hansis' brilliant and absolutely authentic portrayal of Luke's coming out and falling in love story that has brought Proctor and Gamble, ATWT and CBS significant tangible benefits and raised your stature and image among millions of gay people. These same people you know well have disposable income with which to purchase and have a settled history of supporting companies who are willing to tell the truth -- the truth about love between same sex couples and how it is no different from any other couple. Will P&G have the courage to tell the truth again as it was in the beginning of Luke's story? Will Luke and Noah be given the freedom and the script to display the truth with affection (yes hugging, kissing and devotion same as heterosexual couples on ATWT)?
It takes courage to tell the truth, but if you do and reach out to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities, you will likely see marked increase in ATWT's ratings (as you've seen already with Van's appearance as Luke!) and a new generation of devoted P&G product buyers. Continue to backtrack from truth to delusional denial of reality and you will miss out on an amazing PR opportunity for ATWT to recapture market share and reap the benefits of fully revealed love with honest expressions of affection between Luke (Van - a brilliant Daytime Emmy Nominated actor) and Noah (an excellently cast actor who has grown wonderfully as a genuine love interest for Luke). ATWT writing for Luke/Van was nothing short of perfection in the until someone (I assume P&G) made the order to dumb down the relationship.
P&G, ATWT and CBS are already beginning to lose your new-found viewership. Please don't throw away P&G's opportunity to stand out and do the right thing. But if you do return to the former excellence and authenticity of the Luke and Noah story, please to it big with full PR and outreach to the Gay community. The good it was doing for people of all ages and cultures before you withdrew your support is seen in all the fan mail you already have. It is real and there is so very much more good that P&G can do in service to humanity, inclusiveness and healing from decades of lies, ignorance and denial about the reality of true love between gay people.
Thank you for listening.

A human being who happens to be gay also just like Luke and Noah and who knows the truth of Luke's story for having lived it personally. |
| 266 | Anonymous | Anonymous | i was confused as to why they stopped kissing and being affectionate. if they were able to kiss in front of Col. Mayer and survive his crazyness, i believe they should be able to kiss and hug in front of America and come out of it okay =-) |

| 268 | Lisa Ballabas | Gizzycat67@yahoo.com | Straight 40 year old female here . Thank you for adding the Luke , Noah storyline . It's the reason I tuned in , and the reason I continue to watch .
I too , ask that the characters physical relationship is portrayed with equal treatment as the other couples on the show .
Please don't back down .
Someone , somehow , sometime , must take the lead for what is right .
Thank you so much ,

| 271 | Rudy Urroz | chuchu_13@yahoo.com | I am very much in support of seeing Luke and Noah receive equal treatment as far as on-screen affection and physical love that is given to all other couples on As the World Turns. We just want to see an honest portrayal of two people in love. People in love hug and hold hands, but they also kiss and lay down together. It doesn't necessarily suggest sex as the only visual means to express love, but it seems this specific pairing on the show is denied the simple kisses and amorous affections the other couples are effortlessly allowed. We hope you will back up our support, and give your viewers what they want. |

| 277 | Anonymous | Anonymous | The inclusion of the Luke & Noah in ATWT plays an important role for young gays. To be able to watch the show and realize that there are others experiencing the same issues as themselves and to portray these characters in the same light as any other characters is extremely important. It allows them to also realize that a gay relationship is not only feasible but like any other relationship, comes with good times as well as bad. |
| 278 | Jose Hernandez | hernandezjanto@yahoo.com | Luke (Van Hansis) and Noah (Jake Silbermann) deserve more airtime! They are the reason the ratings went up for ATWT. Not Lily and Dusty, not Chris and Emily, not Holden and Bonnie, not Brad and Katie, not Carly and Jack. IT WAS BECAUSE OF LUKE AND NOAH. The faithful viewers of Luke and Noah deserve to see them more and to see how they grow together, both as characters and as boyfriends. |
| 279 | Shane O' Hanlon | hypothalamus13@hotmail.com | I took up watching this show purely for the fact that I wanted to see how American daytime television would handle a gay teen romance. Similar shows in the UK&Ireland have a much better portrayal of teen romance, gay or straight, I feel the characters are very limited in their displays of affection and this is leading to an irritatingly slow progression of the storyline. Please treat Luke and Noah as you would any other characters. |

| 286 | Rob Loxterkamp | shinyboyrob@hotmail.com | I have been watching As The World Turns for over ten years now, and story of Luke Snyder (and more recently, his romance with Noah Mayer) has meant an enormous amount to me as a gay man. I only hope that Luke and Noah can be treated in the same way that I have seen dozens of other couples treated over the years, regardless of their orientation. Thank you for considering the needs of all your supporters. |
| 287 | Warren Ng | wng1997@hotmail.com | The Luke & Noah storyline was what got me interested in ATWT. And I really wish that their relationship would be a bit more AFFECTIONATE. So far, there has been only 2 kisses and the second one was way back in September. Things would have heated up much fast on other shows from HBO, for example, or even shows from England like "Hollyoaks". I do hope they Luke & Noah will hit "2nd base" sometime in the future!!! Thanks for listening. |

| 289 | ernest pershing | pershing7e@aol.com | I switched from days of our lives to as the world turns becuase of this storyline, I am a gay man in my 20's, and I can relate to this story. It however, is not fair to say that you will treat this story like any other, when all we see is a heart felt face, or a pat on the shoulder. I understand that it is daytime, and to some extent some things may still be taboo, but I have seen women full back naked, and sex scenes so steamy that they should be in cable after midnight on your show and others like it. I wish that you would be more realistic, and treat these characters like you promised...like everyone else on the show. if "cbs cares" like it says in its motto then please make it so. |

| 292 | Anonymous | Anonymous | it is conforting to know that ATWT is featuring a gay couple like luke it is very encouraging for young gays and others who support the gay population to see the possitive out come of this relationship so far. So please continue with thius relationship just as you would with any other on the show.^_^ |

| 297 | Oda Nyborg | oooda@hotmail.com | This is an international relationship. It grasps of the very core of something that many gay people struggle with every day. I know that as a society we haven't come far enough to equally display a gay relationship like a straight one in daytime shows, but that shouldn't mean that you have to build up a very beautiful and real relationship, and then get stuck in your homophobic ways.
Please give this relationship a fair break! |

| 299 | Jillian Sang | junai214@aim.com | Please allow Luke and Noah's relationship to be shown realistically. Their story is groundbreaking and it would be a disservice, not only to the LGBT community, but to society in general, if their relationship is portrayed more as a platonic friendship rather than what it is -- a love story. |
