| 154 | Lugia | lugia@vartanho.com | After years of staying far away from daytime television, this storyline brought me back because it was compelling and presented in a convincing way. The lack of screentime lately and affections shown makes me doubt that these are even the same characters I watched over the summer. I expect it to continue as strong as it started and not go out with a whimper. That would not do the actors' massive appeal justice or let this be remembered as the groundbreaking storyline it is. |
| 155 | Peggy | peg3_16@hotmail.com | This story is the best thing in daytime television right now. We need more. |

| 158 | Jill | jilly_bean6@yahoo.com | i absolutely love this storyline. please keep it going! |
| 159 | Anonymous | Anonymous | The Noah and Luke love story is a touching one that will allow many young gay people to see that we can live lives of fulfillment and happiness. Please allow this story to fully develop. |
| 160 | Cydney Williams | cydney.williams@gmail.com | Subject: Luke and Noah of As the World turns
My name is Cydney Williams, and I am a 29-year- old, middle class, single woman. I was a long time watcher of ABC soaps who gave up on daytime soaps a long time a go, until my friends began talking about this beautiful new couple-- a gay teen couple.
I was intrigued and began to watch clips of the couple, ignoring the rest of the storylines. (I began to be drawn into other storylines on As the World Turns. I am now watching the The Guidling Light, which precedes ATWT, as well. )
Luke and Noah are star-crossed, confused, lonely people who found love and solace in each other. They are magical.
Luke Snyder and Noah Meyer, as portrayed by Van Hansis and Jake Silberman respecively, are the most moving supercouple is soaps since Tad and Dixie from All My Children.
They desrve to have as much screen time as the other couples, and that screen time should portray the kind of deep, passionate relationship that is the hallwark of soaps in general and ATWT in particular. Every time they grasp each other's wrists rather than kiss, the versimilitude of the realtionship is threatened. The relationship, which was sealed with two kisses over the summer, is being neutered by the lack of physical expression between them.
This, quite honestly, smacks of network cowardice. Soaps broke down barriers in the past by showing how women can be powerful and by racially integrating the casts. Continue to break down the barriers by protraying a full-fledged relationship between two men, with all the passion, the angst, hope, and drama that heterosexual couples recieve automatically. |

| 167 | Anonymous | Anonymous | I got hooked on soaps BECAUSE of this couple, actually, it's the only parts I like to watch. I could probably care less about the other storylines, but I would love to see more Noah and Luke. Please |

| 170 | Melody | clexthreat@msn.com | I watch As The World Turns only for the Luke/Noah story and I would love to see this relationship develop furher beyond the 'holding hands' gestures, please let them show their love. |
| 171 | Victoria | rydonlovefest@hotmail.com | Luke and Noah are adorable. They are definitely my favorite part of the show. |
| 172 | Jessy | illyriajem@hotmail.com | I had never watched As the World Turns before a friend informed me of the Luke and Noah storyline. I now watch the show regularly, but am willing to stop if the boys' relationship continues to be shown with such lack of physicality. It has become distracting towards the storyline and is displeasing to the say the least. |

| 174 | Anon1978 | kimberlygarb@yahoo.com | The Luke/Noah storyline is probably my favorite part of the show. They've definitely got me compulsively checking for updates on their adorable, developing love. Please, don't let that die. This petition is an obvious example of how many viewers you've gained by this couple, and how many you'll keep because of it. |

| 181 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Please allow Luke and Noah to be more prominent of this show. They are truly a story to be told. It represent reallife more then you think. |

| 184 | David | dbailey_jr@yahoo.com | Honestly I was never a fan of daytime tv, but when i found out about Luke and Noah, I was hooked. Now I have to watch everyday just in hopes of seeing them, watching as they progress. As a new fan of the show I ask that you support us, in our desire to see the story of Luke and Noah. |
| 185 | Anonymous | Anonymous | i honestly don't get why people are so afraid of this. i personally think that if you find love at all that's amazing and it doesn't take any form. this is just another form. the actors are amazing and they honestly need more screne time. |
| 186 | Vanessa | davidlupinluver@yahoo.com | Luke and Noah need to have more air time and more affectionate scenes! |
| 187 | John Moyna | JohnMoyna@msn.com | For the past 36 years I have not been able to watch TV on any regular daily basis. Im usually not interested in watching daytime dramas as they tend to be overly psychotic, trivial and unbelievable. Within the past 6 months, by lucky chance, I found out about this story being played on the program ATWT, and appreciate it very much. Last month I finally bought a TV just to watch this particular story. Please do NOT drop the LUKE & NOAH storyline, but allow the viewers the enjoyable fantasy of Gay Romance. Im JONNYBABE285 at Gay D.T Com and approve this message. |
| 188 | Olivia | londonrockr@hotmail.com | Intill Luke and Noah's story was on ATWT I was not a viewer. I was but only off and on wathing it for my mom while she was at work during the summer. Now, im am a HUGE fan of the two! Cant get enough. So please put them on more. And have them get a little closer, please? Like more kissing like stright couples on soaps do?
Thanks. |
| 189 | Annelie Ohman | Un__Known___@hotmail.com | Let Luke and Noah be like ther other couples in As The World Turns, they're supposed to be in love, show it.
Thanks. |
| 190 | Skylar Baker-Jordan | skylar.bakerjordan@gmail.com | I started watching ATWT because of the Nuke storyline and truly would like to see it progress more realistically. As a fan of All My Children I've always been disheartened by the "kid gloves" used to handle any story regarding a romance for Bianca, the only lesbian character. I started watching ATWT cos I thought that perhaps a daytime drama would handle a gay relationship in a frank, realistic, adult manner. While ATWT has given Luke and Noah better treatment than similar stories on daytime have thusly received, I would like to see more of them on the screen and more affection akin to what is seen in heterosexual couples. |
| 191 | allison | alligrules@gmail.com | i honestly don't get why people are so afraid of this. i think to find love at all is amazing and that it doesn't have any shape or form or only certain people can find it. everyone needs love no matter if it's serious, between friends, or for their job. van and jake are talented actors and definatly need more screen time. |
| 192 | Richard Sweeney | xanthis2001@yahoo.com | I was a viewer of this show 10 years ago and then the Luke storyline brought me back. While I follow some of the other storylines I think for the most part they are silly or completely asnine. How out of touch with women( your core audience) are you that you think they all want children. One "pregenancy" storyline at a time is enough. You currently have three! Views want romance and a good story. Other than fundementalist ( and why should they be watching a show that contains adultery, murder, and stealing anyway!) I think you will find that many women will embrace romance any its all myriad forms. |
| 193 | Anonymous | Anonymous | The Luke and Noah storyline is probably my favorite part of the show. They've definitely got me hooked, i cant miss a minute of their developing love. Please, don't let that die or go down a bad path. This petition is an obvious example of how many viewers you've gained by this couple, and how many you'll keep because of it. |
| 194 | Anonymous | Anonymous | Luke & Noah's story has kept me captivated since I started watching in September. Please allow the characters to show the affection they have for each other like all the other couples on the show. I would like to thank you for creating the Luke & Noah storyline however, even in this basic portrayal. |
| 195 | scott | scottl@xsmail.com | I applaud the steps this show has taken in regards to the Luke and Noah story line. I wish I had a positive influence such as this when I was growing up rather than the isolation that most people of my generation dealt with. I do hope you will allow the characters and their relationship to grow like any other, with all of the pluses and minuses that entails. |

| 200 | Ryan P. | nuke642@hotmail.com | Well I'm not here to just say, more kissing and shit, no that's not the point. I think they should get more air-time and also show that homsexuals are people too, I think there are some people who don't understand people that are attracted to the same sex, and I think that this could help with some of the "haters" out there ge a better understanding. |
