Many state medical boards are disciplining and harrassing Lyme Disease doctors for treating patients with long-term antibiotics. Anyone who has Lyme Disease or knows anything about it understands that short term treatment DOES NOT WORK! This petition is to help and support the knowledgeable doctors who are trying to help patients with this disasterous disease and get the medical boards to allow the patients to chose the type of treatment they receive. |

I am a lyme disease patient and my doctor (along with many lyme doctors in this country) is currently under investigation for his treatment methods of Lyme Disease. I have been infected for 20 years and am finally getting better for the first time in my life. Long-term antibiotics are the only hope for patients like myself and the medical boards should care more about us getting better and leave the doctors who are trying to help us alone. |
