Michèle FultonI am a supporter of Fundscrip. If I cannot buy my groceries at Loblaws through Fundscrip, I will shop elsewhere.
AnonymousI shop at Loblaws each week and spend an average of $200.00. I buy gift cards through fundscrip to help raise $ for my children's school. If you do not reconsider maybe i should reconsider where i shop too!!!

Linda HamonEven though the group (church) I support is a registered charity, I know of many school groups who depend on this fund raising as a major source of funds. I urge you to reconsider your decision. Although I do most of my grocery shopping at Loblaws I have Metro, Super C and IGA closer to my home. It wouldn't be an inconvenience to swith my loyalty.
AnonymousHaving Loblaws and Supercentre as a participating retailer with Fundscrip is what convinced many parents on our sons soccer team to use Fundscrip. I live in an area where I have many grocery stores around me. I will chose to shop where my sons soccer team will benefit. I will certainly chose Loblaws or Supercentre if it joins Fundscrip again.
Karen RiboutI would like to take this opportunity to say that we were upset by Loblaws decision to end the partnership with Fundscript. As schools, and associations, we need the support of corporate sponsorship, to enable our worthy activities. I hope that you would reconsider your decision, as our shopping will have to move elsewhere. Karen Ribout

Janice PrazoffAs a teacher who is constantly striving to make my student’s educational experience as rich as possible, I am always on the lookout for fundraisers that can raise the money we need while allowing the teachers and volunteers to focus on the kids. Last year, FundScrip helped us encourage our young authors through the purchase of a new Mac computer, which makes writing more interesting for the students. As one of the teachers who organized the FundScrip volunteers, I was pleased to hear from them how easy the program was to administer. When we learned that Loblaws left FundScrip, we discussed the idea of running a Loblaw gift-card fundraiser ourselves. Assuming that we could be a registered charity through out Home and School, the requirements of running such a program are just not doable for our school. For starters, if we had $5,000 to buy gift cards directly from Loblaws, our principal would never allow it since Loblaws wouldn’t refund the money if we couldn’t sell the cards. Second, no volunteer at our school (and I can’t see a volunteer at any school) who would be willing to drive to a Loblaws store, pick-up the gift cards and accept the $5,000 responsibility. Next, the volunteer time required to take orders, collect the money, do the bookkeeping, source the cards and sort them is just too onerous for our volunteers. Lastly, there is no way our school could accept so much NSF cheque liability. Either we raise funds with Loblaws gift cards through FundScrip or not at all. I urge you to reconsider your position and work with FundScrip to provide this terrific program. Until such time, our school will support those retailers who support us. Montreal, QC

Pat Gruter-LarsonWith "The Independent" being the only grocery store in town and having the monopoly on our food dollars, this decision by the Loblaws group to restrict the sale of gift cards to only benefit registered charities is very dissappointing! My food dollars will be spent elsewhere, until this company can see its way clear to again support the schools and non-profit organizations participating in Fundscrip. Groups that support our youth!

AnonymousIt really is a shame to hear the recent new of Lablaws/Fortinos decision to restrict the sale of gift-cards to schools. This was a fundraising opportunity that most parents could easily support and will continue however through an alternative competitor. We hope there will be a time when Loblaws will reconsider their decision and help support such a worthy cause. Please remember what you can do today impacts the future for our children. Please reconsider. Sincerely, Una Schieber
Carolyn SurridgeI prefer to shop at Zehrs ', however, since you have not been a fundscrip participant I am now shopping at Sobeys and Foodland. Should you be a fundscrip supporter I will return to Zehrs' as it is my preferred place to shop.

Lonnie DavidsonOur School is looking at participating in the funscrip fundraiser. As Loblaws is the only local grocery store we were very excited. I spend on average two to three hundred a week at Loblaws. I am very dissappointed that Loblaws has withdrawn their support.
Jenn CallumFewer and fewer reasons to shop there all the time. Very disappointed that you would go this route. You should be supporting your community, not ignoring it. Bad move, folks.
