Lisa Scott | I was very disappointed to hear of Loblaws pulling away from from a fantastic fundraising program. We have been part of this for just over a year. Alot of people like myself participate in it as a hockey fundraser, to help put back some money in parents pockets. It cost so much money anymore to have your kids in all these sports they want to participate in. Which is a good thing. The government, doctors, teachers are pushing physical activity because of all the health concerns that are out there. But there are people who cannot afford to do this, and how do you explain to a child, that there isn't money to do it. They just don't get it. So if this fundraiser helps people financially to get their kids out there and participate, why not? Why not help out that average Joe out there. We do it everyday with the grocery stores when we shop as customers at your stores. We support your businesses, why not give something back in return? It is a win win situation. I spend more money at your stores, we as parents get some money back in our pockets, and kids get to get out there and have fun. How could you say no to this?
| 202 | Anonymous | This is a worthy program able to help the less fortunate just by purchasing their daily food and gas.
Please help |

Shelley Hayden | I will shop at Adonis and Metro now. I will no longer go out of my way to shop at Maxi as I have been doing in the past with Fundscrip cards. Children benefit greatly from the money fundscrip helps to raise. Don't forget - they are your future customers.
vicky pardo | I have been using about $150/ week, but will consider going to a competitor if it means I can raise funds for my son's hockey team.
Valerie Fortin |
Jill Earle | Unless changes are made, I will not be shopping at your stores anymore. In our area we have the choice of going to 2 other grocery stores, which I will be doing. Until a change is made, I will be encouraging others to shop elsewhere too.

shirley ward | I thought this was a wonderful way for school and non-profit groups to make some needed money. Is Loblaw's so poor that they can't help out????????
murray ward |
Elizabeth Shama | I purchase $200 a week in Loblaws gift cards to support my Church and School. This is a fabulous fundraising option, please reconsider.
Mallory MacLeod | Hi I'm the coach of a varsity cheerleading team and we compete all over Canada and the US which is costly an fundscrip is one way we fundraise. Provigo/Loblaws is by far our best seller with fundscrip, please don't let us down!

| 217 | Anonymous | I can't believe that such a large company like yours would do this.
I will think twice before shopping at any of your institutions again. |
Anonymous | The Loblaws Executive's decision to withdraw from FundScrip is disappointing and senseless. The assistance that FundScrip provides to overcome fundraising challenges for our school and thousands of others is by far worth the small percentage they retain. Here in Toronto we have choice, and we will choose to shop at other grocery retailers who continue to understand and support our need for fundraising.
Anonymous | The funds raised through the rebate program through fundscrip at our school were mainly raised through a local Loblaws store. We could not have achieved or accomplished what we did without your support. Acknowledgement of this support was recognized in local papers and direct contact with store managers. It seemed to be a good thing for both. Please continue to support FundScrip with your gift certificates.
Elaine Sadori | I feel that Loblaws could and should be giving back to the community.

Lucy Di Carlo | Do the right thing
Anonymous | Please don't bother as I think scrip is a waste of time.
shirley ward | Don't know if this is because of the Loblaw's strike, but schools and non-profit groups depend on this Fundscript money to run different projects. Have a heart! Leave things as they were.
Murray Ward | Come on, Loblaws, help out the little, less fortunate guy. Does this mean that we cannot use the cards at Zehrs????????
Jessica L. | I really believe that gift card fundraising is the future of fundraising for all groups across Canada. You were involved in this program and you benefited from all the work Fundscrip did to promote and educate people about this particular type of fundraising. Now you want to squeeze fundscrip out of the picture and benefit from all the set up work they have done. Shame on you!
Susan Hlinka | in a small community...your support is vital
Helen Landry | :(
Amanda Michetti |
Marie Lemay | Loblaws is not the only grocery store in town. I will shop at one of the MANY other stores in the fundscrip program as will the other parents in our group.
James Milton | You can't tell groups that have been using this program to buy directly from you. We don't have the money to buy cards up front. If we did have the kind of money you are talking about, we would not need to fundraise.
Emma R. | To loblaws: You really ought to come down out of your Ivory Towers and see how the real world fundraises. We are not a registered charity but that does not mean the work we do is less worthy of your support. You have just cut us without a good reason.
Bill Findlay | We need FundScrip's services - we do not have the volunteer base to do this task, and our staff are underpaid and overworked, as are all in the social services sector.
Lisa Greenway | I like the fundscript program and i think you should reconsider. We need more fundraisers like this to help us in our community.
Christine Harvey |
Cathy Brodeur | I have run just about every fundraiser under the sun but nothing even compares to the fundscrip program. It's simple to run and each participant purchases and pays fundscrip directly for the cards they want each week. No chasing people for orders and no risk of nsf checks. It's a volunteers dream.
Eric Winn |
Melody Adap | I am a member of a registered non-profit organization and my group was affected by your decision because Fundscrip had discontinued to have you as one of the retailers. Please reconsider your decision as many organisation really depend on Fundscrip to raise funds.

Aileen de Guzman |
louise barrette | I want to support my childrens activities and this is a good way. I will have to shop elsewhere then Loblaw and affiliates to support that.
Libby Madramootoo | Our church does give charitable receipts so we should be able to use loblaws gifts certificates from Fundscrip
Leah Choules |
Carla Paddock | I only shopped at Superstore because of the gift card program to support our group. I will not be shopping at the store anymore as I prefer to support those who actively support our communities.

Hedda Jacobson | A good method for our school and our grandaughters registered education plan to grow. Good things for our community and a childs education. Why would anyone not want to be part of that. For my part I will continue to support corporations that share my values for the future.
Gail Lang | I shop ALL the rime at Loblaws and Maxi, so the loss of this for me is immense
