AnonymousThe Arundel Home & School Association is a non-profit association who provides special activities, better equipment, theatre plays, etc. that the students would'nt have if we were not there. We also work hard to make sure every student is equal no matter their social status. We need Loblaws to be part of Fundscrip in order to make it happened for the children.

AnonymousI like to shop at Zehrs in Kincardine, however I will switch to Sobey's as they support our local schools. There are only three grocery stores in our town and the other two grocery stores carry Our Compliments brands. The other two stores are involved with Fundscrip and I will no longer shop at Zehrs in Kincardine if they cannot support Fundscrip.

Paul YaxleyDear Sir It was with deep regret that our church can no longer include Loblaws on our list of companies we deal with in order to raise funds for projects in our community. Fundscrip is one of the few companies we can deal with that creates a win/win situation for all involved. It is in fact the only outside organization we deal with to raise extra money for small projects. This is the second time in less than a month that Loblaws has let our Anglican community down here in St. Bruno. Recently we celebrated our 45th anniversary and approached Loblaws for help in supplying the food for the occassion. All we asked for was a small discount to help us out. We were rudely denied any help. Our local Metro and IGA who take there community responsibilities much more seriously came through with flying colours. We ended up using our fundscrip to purchase over $700.00 in food supplies. A win/win situation! Come on guys you can't turn your backs on the very people who support your store from week to week and then expect them to keep supporting you. 170 Joy BeggsPlease rethink your decision to pull out of the fundraising program. You have been such a help to both our hockey team and school. I used to "shop around" but, because of the coupons, shop shop exclusively at Zehrs.

Pat FentonThis is a good fundraiser and I think it is unfair of Loblaws to remove their support
AnonymousHow sad that your interests have shifted from corporate responsibility to corporate greed.
Debbie NealeI had already sent a letter to customer service without any response. We are very disappointed in a company who are cutting off funding that effects children in their own communities. Many at our club feel this will hit the press. There is a limited opportunity to rectify this.
AnonymousShort sighted and community immune
AnonymousToo bad you can't see what it's like in schools these days to understand the inpact this program has had. Money we raise is going for a music teacher, nutrition program and sports equipment. This will really hurt us so we will ask our supporters to shop at Loebs' from now on.

Alison M.You are telling our school that we can continue to buy gift cards directly from you. But we are not a registered charity nor will we, in all likelihood, every become one. We don;t have $10,000 to buy the cards up front and even if we did, who will take responsibility for the safety of these cards? The only way we can participate is with Fundscrip doing the work and buying on our behalf!

Andrew WatsonWe use this program as a steady fundraiser for our local elementary school. If your company drops off we will continue to use the fundraiser and will concentrate our shopping with Sobey's gift cards. Currently we do most of our shopping at Zehrs in Kincardine but will support the store that supports the fundraiser.
Felicia LowryOur small group has been able to earn money to help purchase necessities at our preschool. What is just another corporate decision to you (and an ill informed one at that)) is going to hurt our children.
AnonymousI am appalled that a company the size of loblaws that claims to support the communities it is in would back out of being a sponsor for such fantastic fundraising drive to help the youth in our community. Why have you pulled out of Fundscript?
AnonymousTo The Loblaws Board Members: Please rethink your involvement in the Fundscrip program. You have angered parents who's children will be loosing out on thousands of fundraisiing dollars. This is not a wise decision. But you can fix it very easily.
Mario RiganteIt is important for Loblaws to rejoin the Fundscrip program. It is important because this wil have an effect on Loblaw"s customer loyalty. We use Loblaws for childres"s parties, which of course leads to inviting many other parents that get to know Loblaws. Not to mention all the products purchased from Loblaws. It would be a dissappointment for the parents to start acting as detractors rather than promoters. JOIN FUNDSCRIP
Kate J BlackMany parents who normally would not shop at Loblaws or No Frills but did so because it was a way to help out the schools, will now abandon shopping at your stores.
Vincenza TufanoRejoin Fundscrip. This dissappointment will have a negative snowball effect. Technology can reach a great many parents and negative comments have an impact on long term. Do the right thing and be a good corporate citizen. REJOIN FUNDSCRIP

Gerda McKayI am deeply upset that Loblaws has considered dropping it's banner stores' support for the Fundscrip with the school organizations. I like to continue supporting our local grogery store, Zehrs and in doing so it would be very nice to support my Daughter's fundraising efforts for her local school. It is one of the easiest ways to support and fundraise for the school. It is very hard to come up with ways to fundraise for the school; especially in these days of constant fundraising for community , church and special groups. Money is tight for some of us but we do all need to grocery shop each week for food for our families and ourselves and with this decision you have very much limited chances for most of us to support our schools with something as simple as grocery shopping which we do anyway. I'm lucky to have another grocery store in my community but some do not. I however, because of this would be forced to shop all the time at it and that would be lack of support and dollars contributed to your affiliate store. Please reconsider your option or you could possibly lose a lot of consumers and therefore a lot of revenue.

AnonymousI am very disapointed to learn that you are pulling out of supporting or children's fundraising efforts. I live in a town with two major grocery stores-No frills and Sobeys as well as I travel to Windsor regular. I will be sure to avoid your stores due to this cruel withdraw from our children's activities.

Rose weyer-KellerGood Afternoon Loblaws, I am the parent Fundraising Volunteer at my children's school in Ontario. Our school was going to start using Fundscrip on a weekly program starting in two weeks and part of the big motivation was the shopping at the Loblaws owned stores. I trust that you will reconsider your position and participate in the Fundscrip program as it is an excellent way for our kids' school to raise the needed funds for playground equipment and educational resources.
