| 1251 | Jennifer M. | our school not only has parents that purchase for personal use but our Home&School committee purchases for our school functions; this contributes to our fundraise in two fashions: monies earned from Fundscrip & monies earned from our fundraising event. We, the community, use the Maxi & Co. in our area so much and depend on them for support. As a parent I purchase for two different organizations from fundscrip. It's the best fundraiser available. Please reconsider your organizations withdrawl; you're making a mistake! |

| 1253 | Kelly rivers | To whom it may concern;
I am a volunteer for a small christian non-profit school where children have but one place to grow in their faith without the bullying and large classroom sizes. We rely on fundraising to keep our school going in a small town where places to shop are far and few between. Your recent decision, although greater for YOUR bottom line, is affecting more people than you know. These children will probably not be able to continue their education as our small school will not be able to stay alive without these fundscrip discount cards.
I stand before you with my hands open, asking for what is just a crumb to your bottom line.
I thank you for any consideration you may give this request.

| 1254 | David Jamieson | I hope that your company changes there mind on this issue. Schools are one of our most inportant resources. Thank You |

| 1256 | Carolyn Westin | You were helping us support a very significant band program (one of the best in the province of Newfoundland). By removing yourself from Fundscrip the funds we will be able to raise for the school band will be greatly diminished. Please reconsider. |
| 1257 | James Dolha | I am currently purchasing $200.00 of Loblaws Gift cards every two weeks. I was going to raise it this year to $350. every two weeks. because thats closer to what I really spend. That is at least $9100.00 that I will now be spending at one of your competitors!
You should check what kind of decisions your staff make for your company!! Somehow I don't belive this was a good one. |
| 1258 | Anonymous | Our members are able to order from one of 5 Sobeys store in the local area. It is not difficult for us to shop there more often. Sorry for your loss. |

| 1263 | Barbara Miller | I shop at Loblaws frequently and now will have to reconsider where I shop because I use fundscript. I have a larger family, so shop quite often and will miss going to Loblaws. |
| 1264 | Carolyn Schoonen | Please re-consider your decision and continue to support parents and children in our communuity. |

| 1267 | Nathalie Lacroix | Bonjour

| 1272 | Denise Zelle | This was an easy way to raise money for my children's school. Now you have forced me to shop elsewhere. |
| 1273 | S.Childs | Loblaws has stopped stocking at least 3 items I purchase regularly. The main reason I continue to shop at Loblaws is because I can purchase a gift card and support my church at the same time. Since you no longer enable Fundscript to sell your cards, I will no longer be shopping at Loblaws. |

| 1276 | Wanita Morrison | Please continue to support these non profit groups. |
| 1277 | Juliet Tonini | Fundscrip allows me to give my child some of the extra things I could otherwise not afford. |
| 1278 | Barry McLean | I have been helping to support my daughter's trip to BC with her choir by buying my groceries at Loblaws and also buying Loblaws cards for my mother. Prior to this I shopped at a different grocery store but was pleased to switch to Loblaws because they were supporting out choir. Now I will be changing my habits again to shop at Metro because they are willing to continue to support us, while you are not. Even after the choir finishes fundraising for their trip I will remember that Loblaws left us high and dry. I will not be back. |
| 1279 | jeannette young | WE have always been a supporter of Zehers kincardine. If they pull out of fundscrip I will shop at sobeys where they also support fundscrip. |

| 1287 | Nina Beresford | Dear Mr. Weston,
We the undersigned implore you to reconsider the recent change in Loblaws policy regarding the sale of your discounted gift-cards.
Loblaw’s recent change in policy restricting the sale of your gift-cards exclusively to groups, who are registered charities, closes the door on this fundraising opportunity for the vast majority of our schools and non-profit groups.
Even for most of us who are registered charities, we simply do not have the necessary resources to run a gift card fundraiser. School and non-profit fundraisers are run by volunteers – NOT full-time paid employees. The administration of a gift-card fundraiser can require a small army of volunteers, where most schools and non-profit groups have a hard enough time finding one or two volunteers for a few hours a week.
We are well aware that Fundscrip is a for-profit company who keeps a percentage of the discount you provide to cover their costs. Without the services they provide, we simply cannot use Loblaws gift cards as a fundraiser.
Until such time as we can raise funds for our chosen school or non-profit group by purchasing Loblaws gift cards through the Fundscrip program we will express our disappointment with your company by shopping at your competitors and encouraging all of supporters to switch to one of FundScrip’s other participating grocers.
Sincerely,
Nina Beresford |

| 1290 | Edwina Palmer | I think this is a very poor business decision because now I will do all my shopping with Sobeys gift certificates that I can buy through fundscript. |
| 1292 | Sharon Rahn | It would definitely hurt our school sales not to have Extra Foods gift cards. The money we are raising goes towards reading and literacy books and accelerated reading programs for the classrooms and the library. We are also trying to build a new playground and every little bit helps. This is for kids, for their schools. That has to be a worthwhile cause! Your decision really hurts small communities like Stettler, AB. It's Sobey's for me then and Wal-Mart, at least they support their communities! |
