Make Changes to the Live-In Caregiver Policy

The petition

this is for a political action project I'm involved in where we have chosen to collect petition signatures for changes to be made to Canada's Live-In Caregiver immigration policy, which has left many nannies, especially within the Filipino population in Toronto, exploited (wages are less than minimum age, no overtime, unfavourable living conditions, living with their eployers, etc), sexual/mental/physical/emotional abuse, and facing deportation.

These women come to this country with a false impression of greener grass, only to be taken advantage of, and used. This is an issue of human rights!
