| 202 | Shaun Proctor | Would it not be different if the issue was race or sex related as opposed to same sex marriage! Then there would be a big out cry! |

| 204 | Nick Hodge | It is vital that people can enter into a civil partnership without feeling victimised by those carrying out these public duties. |

| 212 | Debbie Williams | Disgraceful. Personal opinions are fine and we all have the right to voice them, but they are PERONAL and only OPINIONS and should noy allow us to break the law!! |

| 215 | Nigel Holland-Williams | I wonder if this creature ( she cannot be called a human) would feel if her wedding was refused because she is black. Doubtless there would be an outcry and she would sue the relevant people. Double standards yet again. |

| 218 | Harry Small | This woman is a tedious bigot |
| 219 | Paul Walsh | If Ms Ladele is unable to perform her employment duties then her employment should be terminated. I applaud Islington Council. |
| 220 | B.S.M. | This woman should be simply fired with no payoff. |

| 223 | Alexander Barrington | IT IS DISGRACE! How can homosexuality be a Civil Right? What it has to do with race or nationality? Even on a simple basis it goes against common sense. No ability to complement and pro-create, and so on. We live in unique times when wrong is called right and right is called wrong. Society MUST WAKE UP and oppose this madness. |
| 224 | Richard |
| 225 | Ben Franson-Wright | If Ms. Ladele does not want to register civil marriages, she should not be a Civil Registrar! |
| 226 | Andrew Quick | This is a great injustice.
No one should be allowed to have extra rights above others based on religious grounds. Being Gay is fact, religion is a theory. |
| 227 | Ivan Bailey | Does Ms Ladele refuse to marry divorcees? Does she want to stone adutresses to death? Does she wear mixed fibres? Or is she just another pick n mix bigot? Human rights are for humans, not beliefs. |
| 228 | Kevin | Is this the same woman who refused to conduct Civil Partnership ceremonies on "religious grounds", which gave birth to an illegitimate son when she was 20 years old? How does that tie in with the bible and her "religious beliefs"? She is a pure bigoted person and a hypocrite, nothing else. |
| 229 | Paul Nolan |
| 230 | Neil Roberts | The Ladele case has reached such prominence because the case has been funded & supported by the ultra right wing "Christian Institute". This organisation is dedicated to undermining gay rights & must not be allowed to erode any civil liberty. |

| 232 | Anonymous | this case MUST be won by Islington council - other wise we are opening for opting out or refusing services for any other reasons - color - religion - sex - .
Good luck Islington

| 238 | Andrew Connal | This is a universal issue that goes well beyond the boundaries of Islington. |
| 239 | Simon Murphy | If her religious beliefs prevent her from carrying out her contract of employment fully then she is not a suitable person to be working there. Her religion is her own business but a gay civil partnership is a legal contract which gay people are allowed to enter and it has absolutely no bearing on her religion. If she refuses to do her job then she deserves to be sacked. If she refused to carry out an interracial marriage she would DEFINITELY be sacked. |

| 243 | Anonymous | "Deuteronomy 23:2. God commanded that a person of illegitimate birth must be kept out of the congregation of the Lord, and his ancestors for ten generations"
As a commited christian with an illegitimate son, she has condemed her son and his offspring.
"Thou shalt not commit adultery"
I wonder if she presides over the marriages of adulterers or divorcees
Not much of a christian is she.
Just another bigot picking and choosing bits of her good book to justifiy her bigotry. |
