Jamie Hodge | This is a really important project and is exactly the kind of thing that the National Lottery should be supporting- I hope that they take note of this campaign!

sarah bonsor | I take my two children to Lea Bridge library and which they enjoy it and it is great for there education. However the lack of basic facilities such as a toilet that they can use, resticts the time we can spend there and therefore limits the benefits they recieve.
jacqui christian | restoring the carnegie library so that it can continue to serve the local community is a positive and necessary action.

J. Badr | A library provides access to books and information for everyone in the community, young and old. A VITAL resource as it is not dependent on the amount of money one has or how computer literate one is. How fortunate for Leyton that there are so many people working so hard to keep this beautiful building.

Michael Molloy | Good luck to everyone in the campaign. Its a really important effort
Richard Lown | Libraries should be treasured as a vital means for self-improvement, self awareness, learning and enrichment of the lifetime experience. Libraries not Trident!

| 87 | juliette chatterton | hello, I live locally, Bickley Road, and I think what you are proposing is a great idea. I have 2 children, aged 1 and 4 and we would love to come and use a refurbished centre - we really need one in this area as walking up to Walthamstow library is a bit of a hike. I work as a funding advisor to local charities and community groups, so please get in touch if there is anything that I can do to help. I've worked on many Big Lottery type applications before. Good luck,
Juliette |

Hanif Qadir | Lea Bridge is one of the worst underprivelaged wards in the uk, the funding needed for the Library would guarantee our young people an opportunity to educate themselves in a variety of subjects, the funding will definately secure a better future for many people of all ages for years to to come..

Janet Pasco | I first used this library 45 years ago and as far as i can see there have been no noticable improvements in all that time. This place needs refurbishment urgently. It is part of my childhood, I used to visit it every day after school and help tidy and put books away.
Claire Millington | As someone who is now a professional writer I owe my local library a debt of gratitude. Its outrageous that this library should be closed and the resources it offers denied to some of those that need them the most.
