318 J. Shiwoh KamaraIt is very unfortunate that refugees , mainly women have been subjected to such harsh treatments by our own neighbors for whom we have provided sanctuaries for many many years long before our strife. The Ghanaian Government needs to exercise tolerance and understand in this matter. Most disapointing is the silence of the UNHCR at this time.
319 James F. TambahWe are all Africans.........and as such we should not rush with any judgement as to who did what until we have all the facts. May God bless those impacted...and hope that amicable solutions will be reached soon.

331 Jeremiah T. BurgessThe Petition is absolutely timely and receives my overwhelming support. The Government and People of Ghana need to exercise restraint as regards the current Liberian Refugees on the one hand, and UNHCR/GoG impasse despite the government's concern about issues of national security/a breach of the Public Order Act of 1994 by these helpless refugee women and children. All parties in this matter need to respect the rule of law and Human Rights coupled with all protocols and conventions relative to the refugee situation particularly in Africa.
