I bought RockBand after I heard they made patch since I already had GH3. There's simply NO WAY I'm buying another controller when I already have two. | 1177 | a. p. | The decision to block the patch is a bad decision. I already have Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band. Activision already has my money. HArmonix already has my money. Activision has nothing else to gain from me by blocking the patch. The only thing they have to gain is me telling the numerous video game junkies NOT to buy Guitar Hero 3. There is no rational to blocking the patch. If Activision had a game that was as robust as Rock Band, and came with guitar, drum and mic, then I would completely understand the blocking of the patch because it would be a direct competition. It's not. Activision would make more sales if the guitar was compatible and have a happier fan base. That's just common sense. If Activision is blocking this patch as a way to make license $ from Harmonix, shame on them. The only people you are hurting are the fans that play the video games. I will not recommend ANY Activision products and will discourage the purchase of such. My efforts probably won't make a dent in Activision's deep pockets, but it's all I can do. |
