| 52 | Kenneth Sinclair Stewart | I remember there was an effort to set up such a museum in the school at Newhaven back in the late 1950s. Fifty years later we are still waiting. It is an absolute disgrace. There were opportunities when the whisky bonds were being renovated. What about the Leith Customs House, what is happening there?
A splendid site would be the deserted theatre behind Leith Library at the foot of Ferry Road. |

| 62 | Ruth McClounnan | I was born in Leith, 1937, my family all were from Leith, I left Leith but my heart didn't , an oldleither and I do support a museum, let me know if I can help in anyway possible, I live in Southern California |

| 64 | Trishna Singh | I have lived in Leith for 32 years having come from Glasgow. In Leith there has been a Sikh community for at least 60-70 years and they have a great history to share with the future generations of young Leithers, there is definitely a need for a museum. |
| 65 | Frank Ferri | GIVE LEITH IT'S OWN MUSEUM NOW AND STOP THE NEGLECT OF THIS VEY OLD AND HISTORIC BURGH EVER SINCE. CENTURIES AGOI IT WAS THE BURGESSES THAT ROBBED LEITH AND EVER SINCE EDINBURGH MORE OR LESS COMANDERED LEITH IN THE 1920s IT''sEEN ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE AND DON@T THINK FOR ONE MINUITE THAT WHEN IN THE 50s LEITHERS WERE SCATTERED TO THE FOUR CONERS OF THE CITY THAT OUR SPIRIT HAS GONE. WERE STILL HERE IN STREANGTH AND GROWING PRIDE. MY PREFERED MUSEUM SITE IS THE OLD CUSTOM HOUSE< A VERY APPROPRIATE LOCATION. |
| 66 | ALICE LAUDER | This Mueseum is long overdue for Leith. We have a rich history to display and I am sure many people are just waiting to donate artefacts and stories of Leith to the Museum. |

| 75 | Noel Spencer | The rich maritme heritage of Leith deserves to have a museum, what a more fitting place for it would be the Custom House at Commercial Street. |
| 76 | Rami Okasha | This is an excellent campaign and I think it will be very useful for local schools, too. |
| 77 | Connie Newman | I was born & raised in Leith & although now living south of the border, Leith will always remain home to me. It has a rich heritage & a museum is long overdue. Given its diverse history, it has the potential to be one of the best of its kind. |
