| 65 | Anonymous | Legalize MMA. The sport has a great safety record and is gaining popularity by the day. |
| 66 | Corey Conway | It's the safest sport in the world. 10 times safer than Boxing and that's a Fact! so what's the problem? |

| 76 | Brad Mock | Legalize MMA. It is a sport, not a barbaric sideshow. These athletes deserve it. |
| 77 | Scott Lazarek | MMA is not barbaric. It is not a thug sport. These competitors are for the most part gentelman who train harder than most professional athletes. Their sport deserves to be spectated by New Yorkers. |

| 83 | Jason Klein | MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world today, and one of the most entertaining. It is relatively safe compared to other contact sports such as boxing and football. It highly regulated, in the same manner as boxing. Mixed martial artists are among the greatest athletes in the world. Champions include world class wrestlers, submission grapplers, kickboxers, and karate experts.
I am a long time boxing fan, and a former Division 1 college wrestler. Mixed martial arts is probably the most natural sport in the world, and combines the best of all combat sports. I cannot see a single reason why it should not be legal in New York. |

| 85 | Chris Watson | I don't see a reason to not legalize it, its proved it's a sport and it's not a circus event like it was when it started. |
| 86 | Gus Rodriguez | I cant believe im signing this because MMA should be legal everywhere. Boxing, football, and hockey are more violent. Hockey players get to fight and if im not mistaking the NHL is not sanctioned for that are they?
MMA is a sport, its a beautiful sport. just like boxing is know as the sweet science MMA is the the beautiful science, all the different styles coming together and competing, it should be sanctioned no questions asked. If the governing bodies actually watched and investigated MMA before listening to some tired old argument about UFC back in the 90's before they adopted rules, then theres no questions that they would approve.
Its a very simple argument, if boxing is legal, where guys beat their brains in causing brain damage to older fighters and even death in the ring, then MMA should be legal.
Boxing has 12 - 3 minute rounds, thats 36 minutes of guys being repeatedly punched in the head.
MMA has 3 - 5 minute rounds and 5 - 5 minute rounds for title fights. the most time they would be in the ring, cage is 25 minutes. and they arent being hit in the head for the majority of the time, as a matter of fact when a fighter is taking punishment without defending himself the ref stops the fight, in boxing unless you cant stand the ref stops the fight. So why is MMA "human cockfighting" and boxing is not? |
| 87 | NATHAN JOHNSON | NO REASON IT SHOULDN'T BE LEGAL. |
| 88 | Joseph Bonsignore | This is long overdue. |
| 89 | Michael Brogowski | |
| 90 | Daniel Rozentuller | It is sanctioned in other states and has proven to be safe... |
