| 16 | Anonymous | I feel that instated a law that limits gambling from inside the US is only hindering the government of the United States from cashing in on such a huge industry. Not unlike the war on drugs or the war on terror, which is seeing the United States government overspending and not getting results in its campaigns, would find that legalization of marijauna as well as online gambling would only bring a higher and much needed revenue to the US in our days of war and terror.
Please retract the bill that underlines the legality of overseas offshore online gambling casinos. It not only hurts our economy but it also destroys jobs in the US that others are forced to open offshores.
Legalize online gambling and legalize marijuana and bring back a 25 billion dollar a year industry to the US. |

| 22 | Brian grady | I think this is just the first of many steps the US will take to curb our right to choose, I do not like the direction our government is heading. |
| 23 | Keith Stanczyk | I am signing this petition hoping it will do some good although the only way I can see this law ever getting changed is by the complete overhaul of the politicians currently in office.
We need a new government, these crooked old bastards who currently control this country need to be shown that we will not take this bullshit any longer. |
| 24 | Ryan Peterson | to government: i know what's good for me, stop trying to protect me |
| 25 | Karen Jones | It is an outrage to try and make online gambling illegal.
How dare our government try to tell us how we can spend our money. |

| 31 | Pablo R | Gambling is not that bad, the government passed it as a must pass law, which was attached to a law that enforces security, not allowing people to vote for the gambling act itsself, this is what a corrupt government does. The government wants people to gamble with the state lottery, where you have almost no chance on winning and is just not fun. The united states government cares about money, not its people. Lifting the wnlawful gambling act would be fair, that doesnt mean you would have to life the safe ports act.
Thank you |

| 42 | Anonymous | Unfair Unfair Unfair! I work hard for my money and I should be the one deciding how it is spent! I pay my dang taxes, and I should be able to decide how I want to spend the REST OF IT! |
| 43 | Carine | |
| 44 | Marna Bare | I do not feel that the government has the right to control how I sepnd my money. The cost of everything is going up, but wages are not. How I spend what little money I do have should be no body's business but my own! |
| 45 | Neatha Devries | We should keep our freedom |
| 46 | Bradley Enno | I am a taxpaying adult age 30, I served in the 82 airborne US Army and have honorable discharge.
I pay my bills.. I dont write bad checks..I DID enjoy online Poker untill the US government decided too tell me what too do with my money... I am a voter and I never saw opportunity too vote on this!!! Even still, rather than vote on this why not just drop it. Nobody should have say what I do with my money nor what anybody else spends their money on. That includes the US government. Gambling is not an illegal substance, nobody can die doing it. and nobody can come too physical harm doing it. what I do with my money is MY BUSINESS |

| 49 | Rob | This is unjust & US Government is trying to control the world wide web now? What is next, build a virtual fence around the internet? How about worrying about the billions spent on Iraq war, or is that forgotten. |
| 50 | Bill Van Vleck | The government has grown to be too full of itself in thinking that it has the right to ordain what people do with their capital and property. The concept that our government is responsible for protecting the citizens of the United States of America from whatever malevolence they see fit to prioritize, is ludicrous and unconstitutional at best. This is only one element of abundant examples of government on every level dictating to individuals how they live their lives and run their affairs. If things continue, the constitution will become a forgotten remnant of our history whose significance will be in our ability to remember what was supposed to be the land of the free. |
