It doesn't specify which god.

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation UNDER GOD,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

No where in the pledge of Allegiance does it state which god we live under. It doesn't say, "One nation under the Christian god" or "One nation under the muslim god", just under god. We are a God-based country, and if the government keeps finding ways to take God out of lives, they'll start taking other things to. How would you like it if one beautiful sunday, you are sitting in church, mid-prayer, the doors bust open, and in come a group of soliders carrying guns? They tell you to burn all your religious items, what are you supposed to do? Just start throwing your bibles to the ground? If we let them take this small, un-hurtful line, out of the pledge, this could happen.
