| 25 | Norman H. Hui, DDS | One of the missions of the California Commission on Asian & Pacific Islander American Affairs (APIA Affairs) to to urge City, County, State and Federal government to provide language access for those who desperately need it. I have been fortunate to be able to clarify situations when needed. If my English language skills were not so strong (I have a BA in English), or if conditions were critical and time of the essence, overcoming the misperceptions of public service providers might end badly, or worse. |

| 45 | Tony Lu | As an immigration attorney and the son of Asian immigrants, I deeply feel the need equal access to critical public services by all residents. Please develop and implement a policy that will guarantee that all residents of San Francisco, regardless of nationality and language ability, will feel safe their own city. |
