Joe HansteinI am strongly against this zoning measure. Do not allow this to pass!

Jonathan WhartonVery much upset that this would even be a consideration in Liberty Hill. Please wake up and see what you're doing. This is NOT best for our residents!
Linda KrischkeI think it is time for new leadership in this city!! Those of you in charge now, don't seem to fully understand what's at stake here. You ignore the advice( on other matters) given to you by experts and proceed to do whatever you want. The City of Liberty Hill is a special place to live and to raise a family. Don't you think the need for the soccer fields and the recreation area for the kids, off CR200 is more important than bringing in the potential for drugs and violence and housing them across the street from our children?? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, PEOPLE?!?!?!?!? Wake Up and Do the Right Thing.
Charity ThorntonLiberty Hill might need somehting like this but not built around the Elementry School and that close to subdivisions with small children.

Ron GuetleinIf the city hall is not big enough to hold all the people, then the meeting should be delayed until a big enough of an area is found.

Brenda MillenPlease do not let this happen to Liberty Hill. We just moved from the DFW area and have seen what it has done to various communities in the area. It has turned otherwise quet communities into real trouble area. My daughter will be going to Liberty Hill elementary and do NOT want this across the street from her school.

Steve Wenneborgsubsidized housing helps no one. Based purely on statistics, there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that government subsidies not only do not lift up those they are intended for, but they also create more dependency on social services.
Sean MustakasI also find it quite embarassing to hear of our city leaders making plans to 'pack the room with supporters, thus leaving opposing views out'. Opposers, as well as supporters, pay city leaders with their hard money (in form of taxes), to deny the inalienable rights of American citizens to attend public meetings is an outrage. I thought this city had long past the days of fist fighting in meetings and other various dramas that have marked this town as small and small minded.

Jimmy TaylorI moved to Liberty Hill to get away from the big city and subsidized housing. I'd like for it to stay that way.

Terri CowdreyI am already worried about the Meridail facility being near Bill Burden Elementary but to add subsidized housing increases the potential for threats to our children. I also feel that low income families put a burden on the Liberty Hill tax payers and schools which will need to have subsided lunches, PIR, and other extra "special needs" students, etc.... due to these families economic situation. Lets keep this a family oriented and safe place to live and not already start the big city problems.

Brent BramhallThe sole motivation for the Texas Housing Foundation is the $6.5 million in government handouts, NOT the plite of poverty stricken people. After they get their money, they will be gone, and the citizens of Liberty Hill will be left with the real tab. More importantly, this is located across from the elementary where my child attends kindergarten. The location is unacceptable! Thank you, Brent and Laurie Bramhall 212 Quarterhorse Dr.
Demetria & Charles SimonovicWe are very much opposed to this rezoning change!!
Caryl SimpsonLiberty Hill community greatly needs a home for the elderly but a housing project for low income is not a responsible move.
Michele Mitchell
Monica FergusonMy family and I have lived in Liberty Hill for 17 years. I do not want to see the housing project passed.

S MortonDear Public Officials of the City of Liberty Hill..."Why damage the potential of positive evolution of the City of Liberty by allowing subsidized housing?" Is this what you really want? Please listen to the concerned citizens of the City you represent!
Steve PaulI moved to Liberty Hill so that my children could grow up in a place with less problems than in a larger community, now a few people want to change that. How are these so called low income residents going to get around,do we get bus service next, how much more traffic are we going to add to that loop. This is a horrible plan
Martin & Michele DenbarTo put a low income housing project in a community without a single physician, bus, grocery store, or jobs is ludicrous.
