The quickest way to ruin our quality of life is to attract people who have no investment. I would rather see manufactured housing, duplexes or habitat homes than to see an apartment complex. In fact I would welcome an oppotunity to work with Habitat for Humanity to help people own a home. Renters, in general, do not take care of property (I know this from having owned a rent house).
Law enforement officers have confirmed my supicion that housing such as this puts a strain on emergency services and schools via increased domestic violence, drug traffic and underachievement in school.
We must be dilegent in who we attact to our community. We need people with family values and a desire to contribute to the community. We don't need people who are just looking for a cheap place to stay.
The city council and development board need to think very carefully about this and listen to the tax-paying, law-abiding citizens of our community. This is not something that will improve the quality of this community. |

Thank you, |
| 162 | Cheryl Cantwell | Liberty Hill has enough problems, why bring in more? |

| 164 | Anonymous | Please reject this proposed zoning change! We already have new homes coming into LH that leave question on a lot of peoples mind as to who will live there. We are also looking at moving because of HEB and the downtown stores that are coming into our area. We already have homeless people walking up and down 29 now and have been for awhile. Please put off building low income housing as long as possible! |

Has anyone done a survey to see how this will affect crime in our area? Has anyone done a survey tosee how this will afffect traffic across the screet form our localElementary School. Has anyone cared about the citizens and what this type of developement will do to local property values?
Go watch your Council in action, You'll be shocked at what they do!!!!!!!! |
| 178 | Anonymous | I think that the people of Liberty Hill should have a voice in the matter. The people need to stand together and vote NO to the Housing Project. |

| 182 | JOE SIMPSON | This type of progress for the City of Liberty Hill is not needed or wanted. Please vote no on allowing this project to continue. |
| 183 | Anonymous | Please do not allow this as we have children in school and being across from the school would be a cause of concern of child abusers, drugs, etc being close to our little ones. |

| 185 | Anonymous | Please take a good look at what our downtown looks like now. Imagine what it will either continue to look like or worse if you allow this. Remember too - there are small children. Vulnerable children across the street. We already have drug problems here - allowing this housing across the street from our school will be a catastrophe waiting to happen. |

| 190 | Kyle Hawkins | I understand that when looking at the plans for such a complex that they will look nice and clean. The reality is that in two years they will not resemble the plan drawings at all. I often deal with such complexes and can tell you first hand that once they are constructed they are very poorly maintained if at all. |

| 194 | Rick Vrabel | No good has ever come out of Goverment subsidized projects. Free Market is what makes America and its communities strong. The whole reason Liberty Hill is so attractive to others and its citizens is it still holds true to its values of the American Dream, do not sell the community short for a few dollars from the Federal or State Government. |
| 195 | Marc Truslow | The school district is a major reason we live where we do. A change of this magnitude is not acceptable! |

| 199 | david widmer | I strongly urge the city council to not allow this into our community, |
| 200 | Brian Findeisen | This would change the nice little town that we live in by bringing in more crime and drugs. I know this because i lived in a small town growing up and this same type of development took place. I remember all the crime and drugs raids that occurred after the development. Please don't allow this to happen for the all that love the town we live in. |
