Mauro BarbosaRacquetball is not an olympic sport yet however is present on the pan american games and it has a world championships along with many other international competitions. The Uniited Sates Racquetball Association is working really hard to promote the sport and have Racquetball in the olympics in the near future. Eliminating Racquetball from LA Fitness activities will be a big corporate mistake. You would be surprise how Racquetball keep most of your branches alive. Lifting weights or running on the trade mill without looking at any action thru the glass is boring and not inspiring. I know becuase I used to feel that way before I started playing racquetball. Every time I went to work out and the courts were empty I left earlier. It almost like the action in the courts, the people jumping, running, sweeting and having fun serve as an inspiration for others that can help picking at the courts every time to see what is going on. Is a natural reaction. So many people that never played before watch me play and after the game start asking questions and become interested. Most of them really enjoy watching while they are working out. Is in fact entertaining to watch.
Phillip CombestI don't think you realize how much of a part of life organized racquetball is to a large segment of your membership.
AnonymousHow can racquetball effect the basketball program in any manner at all??? Most of the time the basketball dudes are yelling and screaming at each other with bad language over a "foul" or some other poor sport call. I have never seen racquetball players act in such a way towards each other this is a gentleman's game that I enjoy very much, and have met and made many friends from.
AnonymousPlease do not discontinue any racquetball related events and leagues. This is the main reason why my family of 4 are a member of LA Fitness. Thank you for consideration.
Mark BuserI joined LA Fitness because of the Racquetball Program. You can Definatly count on my membership cancelation if this program is discontinued!
Steve HoweI would hope that the racquetball program continues for the countless members whose only reason for joining LA Fitnes was the racquetball progam. I will discontinue my family membership if the program is disontinued. Please do not take this as a threat but as notice of my intentions. 24-Hour Fitness is a lot more conveniently located to my home.
Lon GoodmanR'ball is the reason I joined LA Fitness. in addition, leagues/programs are one of the main ways NEW players learn rules, lessons, and help grow this wonderful sport.

AnonymousIf you are serious about keeping the courts, why would basketball interfere with racquetball or vise verse? People like Jim Harvey @ our East Cobb club enjoy organizing league play etc. for racquetballer. So, what's the problem?
Wayne SmithThe reason I joined LA Fitness was for the racquetball programs. I can't believe it costs a significant amount to run.
Nico Richardson
Danny Gonzalez
Kevin RulisI hope you will continue your program, although not a member, I have used your gyms in the past when travelling and still hope you will locate one near my home in Exton, PA with racquetball courts. Please keep racquetball as part of your mix. I have found that racquetball players are consistently active members of the gym community (and we do have families as members)
EJ NoreikaAlthough I am a member at a competing club in the bay area, I have already seen a rise in the number of "24 hour fitness guys" playing nights at my club.
AnonymousI would like to have the leagues kept for racquetball. I myself don't play in the leagues but know several people who do. Please don't remove it. Thanks.
Edwin D. HirlemanI have lived in LA Fitness areas and been a member for the purpose of playing racquetball. I now live in Indiana, but play as a day guest whenever I am back on the west coast. Discontinuing formal RBall activities is a bad idea.
Erik VillamilDiscontinuing the Racquetball program would be a dissappointing decision by L.A. Fitness. Racquetball Programs is one of the reasons I joined the club, and I am sure that is also the reason for many members as well.
Matt MassongLA fitness has great facilities and definitely needs to support racquetball. It is sad that they don't allow USRA sactioned events to be played there. It would bring more business to the gym and more players to the sport.
Matthew Barserian
Carol HulseYou've stated to several people, verbally and in writing, that leagues would continue as always, yet we've heard nothing about March 18. We expect you to stay true to your word...
Dawn McVayI hope that the decision is changed for leagues and tournaments. It is an important part of many racquetball players free time to participate in leagues and tournaments.
AnonymousI don't see how you can discontinue one sport that is very popular thoughout southern california and around the world just to play another. If you need help running racquetball, just get somebody to help, don't quit on it because you can't handle it. Racquetball is the main reason i have an LA fitness membership.
Carl OcchipintiRacquetball leagues run at LA Fitness were why I had a membership when I lived there. I beg you to reconsider.

max welcmanThis sounds like the begining of the end.
alejandro arangoTournaments are a great way to get to know other clubs and their players. It is a shame that LA fitness is going to take that away.
robert manigolddude! don't cancel
Carlos MoralejoI think this is a slap in the face to all the player's!!!
Robert Obrien
Tim ChartierDiscontinuing RB leagues at LA Fitness is unfortunate and will certainly negatively influence my decision to remain a member.
