| 61 | Michael TULLY | Of all the possible educational steps backward, this is one of the worst. Leicester, of all cities needs an effective centre of excellence in foreign languages in the city centre. |

| 66 | Julie Maxwell | The Government proclaims lifelong education but prioritises 'basic skills' over all else. People should be learning those at school. They go there for 12 years for heavens sake and it's free. Then when they are adults they can branch out as individuals. Government, get the schools right before you mess up educational systems that are working just fine. |
| 67 | Alan Tang | Post 19 education is important and improves the well being of all those concerned. Funding must be provided from various sources to ensure that this service is continued. You do not have to rely on the local council for funding..they do nothing anyway. That's why this is happening now. Typical local council: NO COMMUNICATION |

| 73 | Anonymous | I am most disappointed to hear that this valuable community resource is being slowly destroyed in the most underhand manner. The LAEC management have shown complete disregard for valuable and dedicated workers and the users of the college and put their interests first. I am happy to hear that the workers are opposing these measures and I wish them every success. |

| 82 | Joanne Halford | I have worked as a life model at LAEC for five years and am absolutely appalled at the destruction of the beautiful life drawing room which was perfect for students due to the many windows allowing in natural light. I have become increasingly aware of the cut backs and that I have had less work due to the reduced amount of classes being held. It is a great shame as so many people benefit from these classes and I am deeply saddened by it's demise. |

| 90 | Lee Simpson | I have been a student in the past at this college and have noticed its slow running down by management (poor advertisment of courses, cutbacks on resources, etc etc).
This sort of back door privatisation has to be fought against! |

| 95 | jenny weston | This site is important , it is accessable to all by bus and therefore does not exclude those who do not drive, an important part of Leicester Adult Education |
| 96 | Anonymous | Adult Education is critically important and good facilities to study are needed. It is inappropriate that the life class is now housed in a room without windows - how is that supporting art?! |
| 97 | Mary Oughton | LAEC is in a central position and can be reached easily by all in the city and County.
Lifelong learning is still very important. |
