Increasingly people want better art & design & are willing to pay for quality, theres a increasing need for proper training, home arts& craft sales are booming.
So leicester council want to sell off colleges for council funds& not keep staff informed of the plan, why not?. Many Corporations are encouraging central government& councils to help build more roads, cut back on rail & post offices & encourage people to use Tesco, is it a coincidence Tesco is run by ex cabinet ministers?. |

| 24 | Nick Parker | When I lived in Leicester, the Socialist Party had our meetings in the Adult Education College. It's really difficult to find a venue to have meetings in the city centre, so the Adult Education College was a blessing. Don't shut it down! |

| 40 | Ant Ince | As an education worker who feels strongly about both workers' issues and the importance of a wide and balanced curriculum, these moves are deeply concerning. I hope to see a swift and total victory for the workers and the students who will no doubt be affected by these moves. |

A lot of courses in the past have served the needs of mature people. Was it only so recently that 'Life Long Learning' was being trumpeted? |
