| 102 | Peter | Canciglia | VA | US | Jerry Kramer was one of the best guards of his era on the greatest team of his era. If Tom Mack is in Kramer should be a shoe in. |
| 103 | Steven | Sheedlo | VA | US | The man continues to mean more to the NFL than most of the players selected to the HOF. It would be a shame to give him this honor posthumously if it should come to that. |
| 104 | Ron | Shifler | MD | US | The beginning of most Packer sweeps began with this man pulling. How can he NOT be in Canton? |
| 105 | Anonymous | Anonymous | PA | US | hE VERY MUCH DESERVES TO BE IN THE h o f |
| 106 | simon | a | | GB | what are you plaing at nfl
get him in were he belongs |
| 107 | Jeff | Schuppel | | | |
| 108 | Daniel | Parr | WI | US | Jerry Kramer should be in the Hall Of Fame. He was a key player in the 2 Green Bay Packer Super Bowl victories. He was a stand out lineman for the Packers for years. A Hall Of Fame without Jerry Kramer is a joke!!! |
| 109 | Pete | Barber | IL | US | |
| 110 | David | Barton | OH | US | |
| 111 | Robert | Vukich | WA | US | I was born in Montana and was a resident of Boise, Idaho in the 1960's. Jerry Kramer is deeply admired by residents throughout the Rocky Mountain States. There is absolutely NO REASON or good excuse for his not being elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. PLEASE sign this petition and help get it done - 2007 is the year!!!! |
| 112 | Eric | Olson | WI | US | Jerry Kramer is one of the greates linemen in NFL history, it is criminal for him not to be in already. The stats speak for themselves |
| 113 | harold | Tetzlaff | WI | US | How can sonmeone be selected the the All-Pro 50th Anniversery team and not be in the HOF? |
| 114 | Anonymous | Anonymous | IA | US | |
| 115 | Sherann | Glorfield | WV | US | I am originally from Idaho. I am married to Gordon Glorfield, who became a Packer fan when Jerry Kramer was drafted by the Packers. I have learned his history and how important he was not only to the Packers, but to the game. He DEFINITELY belongs in the Hall of Fame for his work both on and off the field. |
| 116 | Anonymous | Anonymous | TN | US | Was Jerry Kramer not named the greatest guard of the first 50 years of the NFL? In a book published on the NFL's 50th anniversary, THE FIRST 50 YEARS. How can a man be named one of the greatest players in NFL history and not be in the Hall of Fame? |
| 117 | Mathew | Manley | CA | US | A complete farce that Jerry Kramer is not in the HOF. |
| 118 | John | Hathaway | OH | US | |
| 119 | Anonymous | Anonymous | MA | US | The snubbing of Jerry Kramer has gone on long enough. Lately other guards of the past that played during the time that jerry played have been elected with less credentials. I believe that this snubbing is deliberate and a total injustice to him, his family, and the Green Bay Packers and the fans. I saw the way that Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith wined and complained that Michael Irvin should be in the hall of fame the last two years and what do you know, they decided to elect him because of it even though he had just an average career stat wise. |
| 120 | Phillip | Abramoff | CA | US | Jerry Kramer is the greatest guard in the history of the game.
He revolutionized the
position. He was the
heart and soul of the Green Bay Packers, and
he is being passed over
because so many Packers of that era are already in. It is a travesty that Stan Jones, Billy Shaw, Gene Hickerson, Larry Little, and Tom Mack are in, and Jerry
Kramer is not. |
| 121 | Jim | Litton | NC | US | There is no logical reason as to why Jerry Kramer is not is the Pro Football Hall of Fame. PERIOD!!! |
| 122 | Dennis | Johnson | WI | US | So, Michael Irvin got in...maybe Jerry should snort some cocaine to get noticed. Course, he's too classy and a true gentleman. God Bless you Jerry, you're still a hero in Packer Nation in spite of the oversight. DJ in EC |
| 123 | Jerry | Yocom | CO | US | |
| 124 | Rick | Kramer | NC | US | I watched him play when I lived in WI, everything they say is true. |
| 125 | Stephen | Gerrard | NH | US | I have been a Packers fan since the early 60's. |
| 126 | Ben | Dluzeski | PA | US | I actually didn't realize Jerry WASN'T in the HOF until I saw the NFL Films piece on the Top 10 Draft Classes. That's a NO brainer?????? |
| 127 | S Gerard | Mitchell | MN | US | Wow, this is so overdue. Let's get him in there while he is still on this side of the grass. There is a reason that team won so many championships, they had great players. And this is the last of the truly greats from that Packer era that has not gotten his due. |
| 128 | Tim | Prindiville | AZ | US | The most famous block in NFL history (Ice Bowl). Such an injustice that this man is not in the Hall. |
| 129 | Anonymous | Anonymous | MA | US | As a high school lineman in the 60's he was my hero, inspiration and role model. Maybe that is why the Green Bay HOF gets more visitors than the one in Canton, Ohio. (and I'm a Patriots fan) |
| 130 | John | Morris | FL | US | Simply the best. |
| 131 | robert | wand | WI | US | |
| 132 | David | Pauley | WI | US | |
| 133 | Mark | Dufresne | CA | US | Jerrt Kramer as one of the reasons I began playing football as a young man. His book, Instant Replay, is still one of my favorite books of all time.
Supplementing (and possibly even surpassing) the many tremendous accomplishements he garnered while playing the game for one of the truly iconic teams of NFL lore, his chronicle of the league at that time was one of the reasons the NFL went from 2nd in the minds of America (to baseball) to first.
Jerry Kramer did more for the future of the NFL than Joe Namath did, in my opinion--and regadless, he did it with the greatest of class and spirit that would be expected from the titans who played in that era. No guard in history ever played better or did more to launch the NFL in a time when it needed it most.
Put Jerry Kramer in the Hall already!!! |
| 134 | Kurt | Siegenthaler | GA | US | |
| 135 | bret | chandler | OK | US | |
| 136 | richard | rovere | NV | US | |
| 137 | joseph lawrence | kuharich | CT | | absolutely! |
| 138 | Anonymous | Anonymous | | | This is a travesty that Mr. Kramer is not in the hall. Who was a better OG in the 1960's? |
| 139 | Anonymous | Anonymous | PA | US | I'm stunned that Jerry Kramer still isn't in the Hall of Fame. He helped make one of the greatest plays in football history (The Packer Sweep) famous. His teams wouldn't have won the Championships they did without him. It all starts up front. This needs to be rectified next year, anyone who has watched football knows he should've been inducted years ago. |
| 140 | Bob | DeGolier | WI | US | What an injustice it is that Jerry Kramer was not inducted into the Hall decades ago. What an embarrassment for the Hall. Let's get him in. |
| 141 | Anonymous | Anonymous | | SE | Football--hitting, tackling, and blocking men on a field for salary, athletic scholarship, or dubious glory--is a wasteful, ridiculous activity; however, Mr. Kramer does deserve to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame if only for his recent activities to see that disabled pro football veterans get the medical help they need during their retirement years. For that he should be applauded and helped. Put Jerry Kramer in the Hall of Fame. |
| 142 | Roan | Rickard | MI | US | Jerry Kramer was the prototypical guard. He is a vision in mud, blood and tape always in the action, always engaged. His lead blocking was warrior ballet. He attacked defenses like he was taking Suribachi. He should be in the hall of fame. No question. |
| 143 | Rick | Mahlke | CO | US | The years he wan't all pro were 1961 (broken ankle) 1964 (colostomy) & 1965 (played, but less than 100% from intestinal surgery). He was elected all pro one year while playing with a detached retina. This is a case of "Book Publishing Envy" on the part of sportswriters who choose for the HOF - Kramer is a best selling author, they, by and large, are not. |
| 144 | David | Ress | WI | US | I'm from the same home town as Fuzzy Thurston, so have a special place for Fuxzz and Jerry in my memories. I met Jerry many years ago and there was never a more honorable person to play the game. Forget the stats, which were incredible. He is a good man that deserves better than to be treated like this. If anyone should be in Canton, Jerry Kramer should be, right along with his teammates. |
| 145 | Robert | Bailey | VA | US | |
| 146 | Paul | MacKenzie | NC | US | |
| 147 | Brian | Bucholtz | WI | US | 5 All-Pro seasons. 5 World Championships. Why Bob Brown and not Jerry. Too many 60s Packers already in? Reached our limit? Only explanation I can think of. |
| 148 | Phil | Wesson | WI | US | |
| 149 | Frank | Miranda | NJ | US | I just say Cleveland Browns Guard Gene Hickerson get elected to the HOF... Jerry was the pulling guard on one of the most awesome runnign attacks of all time. So was Hickerson. Please get Jerry IN!! |
| 150 | Tom | Baranowski | IL | US | One of the greatest guards who ever played. He deserves to be in. |
