| 2 | Jeremy Hilton | We have to do all we can to save the Kingsholm Post Office. It is well used by local people and a great asset to the community. The service is efficient and friendly. |

| 5 | sandra pember | This would cause untold problems for the elderly and disabled who would find it very difficult to travel to other areas. |
| 6 | Patrick Baker | The Kingsholm Post Office is often busy and is badly need by local residents, especially those unable to walk all the way into town. The central post office is often packed with long queues out onto The Oxbode and closing this branch will only make matters worse. If more sub-post offices are closed there will need to be an expansion of Gloucester Central P.O. to cope with the extra demand - and it will still be less convenient. |
| 7 | Nina Hargrave | This will cause me personal inconvenience but I am more concerned about the elderly and other vulnerable people in Kingsholm. For example my elderly Mother can just reach Kingsholm Post Office on foot, she doesn't drive. Many people with learning difficulties and mental health needs would find King's Square very intimidating. |

| 12 | Anonymous | The que's are already too long in Kings Suare Post Office |
| 13 | MR & MRS R BENTLEY | Our Post Office has been a valuable asset to the community for so many years, if this is taken away the community will suffer. The Kings Square branch is overcrowded and never any less than a twenty minute queue. We would be overjoyed to stay as we are with the friendly service we have known through twenty four years of living here! |

| 15 | Graham Lundegaard | This an invaluable post office that serves a large local community.
The nearest alternative post office is the central post office in King's Square Gloucester. This post office is already over subscribed and there are usually long cues at the counters. Those without a car would have to walk more than half a mile to reach it and would have great difficulty carrying a parcel to be posted.
The other alternative post offices listed are all in the region of 1.6 to 2 miles away - much to far without using a car or bus. |

| 17 | Anonymous | please save our post office as it relieves us from the long queues in the main post office and it convenient for the elderly and the disabled.

| 19 | sally alexander | the local Post Office is an essential part of the community both for business and personal customers |
| 20 | James Thomas | Whilst I appreciate this is anectdotal I have used the post office once or twice a week for the past 2 years and I have never seen it without at least one other customer in it. Surely the usage of the office justifies its staying open. I would not use the P.O. in town and would no doubt drive to perhaps longford or another post office even further away. |
| 21 | Cllr Sue Blakeley | The needs of the elderly and disabled and small local businesses has to be considered with all these proposed closures |

| 27 | Alan Cleckner | This Post Office provides an excellent, efficient and friendly service to all, the exact opposite of the dismal quality of service generally experienced at King's Square.
Is this perhaps the reason Post Office Ltd want it closed? Everything else about the Royal Mail service screams decline, disinterest and a 'managed' withdrawal from the market. |
| 28 | Cllr Declan Wilson | |
| 29 | Christine Lundegaard | I have been using the services of Kingsholm Post Office since moving to the area 24 years ago. I strongly disagree with the proposed closure.
There is no substitute and the suggestion of using King's Square is not a viable option.
1. It involves a 20 minute walk rather than a 5 minute walk from home.
Many elderly and disabled people are not able to physically do this.
Those fit enough to walk find it time consuming in a busy working day.
Parents with young children accompanying them find it fraught with problems.
2. Despatching of heavy or cumbersome parcels will not be practicable.
3. Pensioners and the disabled in particular need a local access point for cash etc
4. Access to King’s Square would involve a car journey with car parking costs and an unnecessary pollution cost to the environment. For some the cost of a taxi which they cannot afford.
5.When I have been to King’s Square for passport services the queue has been long (even out of the door despite a barrier system to snake the queue!). Many cannot queue for this length of time.
6. Kingsholm Post Office provides an efficient, friendly and personalised service and is in many ways part of the heart of the community. For many elderly and disabled a visit is a main part of their lives. |

| 34 | Jon Stockton | Have the people who are proposing to close this P.O. ever used the city centre P.O. in King's Square. There are always MASSIVE queues !!
Kingsholm PO is fine as it is leave it alone |
| 35 | John Price | I am particularly concerned re the number of elderly and "vulnerable" people living in Kingsholm who will be seriously affected by this closure. Also what consideration has been given to the developments in Gloucester, eg St Oswalds site and Docks. |
| 36 | Judith Wootton | To close Kingsholm P.O. is one of the most ridiculous things I have come across. The P.O. at Kings Square is always crowded with queues frequently going out of the main doors and to expect people to walk to Tredworth is beyond belief. |
| 37 | Anonymous | we need to keep Kingsholm post office open for the residents of the surrounding areas |
