| 11 | Kieran | Absolutely rediculous, Coppers in Dublin doesnt close till 3.30 and hosts about the same size crowd as The Venue or Langtons, everyone spills out onto Hardcourt street, which also has D2 and Tripod closing at the same times, there is an actual presence of gardai on the street which keeps control on things. Its about time gardai in Kilkenny did the same rather than closing pubs early, the same trouble will happen at 1.30 now rather than 2.30, why should the majority suffer, for something a minority do. The gardai should stop complaining and do their bloody job. |

All it does is bring a kill joy element that effects the people who work hard and deserve to enjoy festivals such as this. Week in and week out, idiots cause troubles in pubs. Week in and week out, there's not well planned and prepared international festivals going on for the benefit of people who like to spend hard earned money on enjoying them. It's an idiotic and I daresay, typically juvenile and misconceived idea from the out of touch scaremongers and killjoys that run our legal system. |
