101 Joy RichThe lines are still too long because not enough windows are open. In addition, earlier this month, when the postal carrier for the apartment building I live in finished delivering our mail and left the building, he or she didn't lock one of the four sections of mailboxes. Also, for about a week, mail addressed to me with the correct apartment number on it was being put in another resident's mailbox.

106 Karen ChikofskyThe service is extremely slow. The workers are joking around while the customers wait on line. When you finally make it to the window, the workers are abrupt and unpleasant. I receive mail for many different addresses at least twice a week. I have called to complain about this , to no avail. If I am getting other people's mail, who is getting mine?

108 Charles Shehadi and Tracy MillerYes, please renovate or add an additional post office for Kensington - it is inadequate for our needs.

110 Heather CristolI have never waited less than 45 minutes and often an hour. If you have young children this is prohibitive. We basically have to go elsewhere to use the post office and try to arrange for packages to be delivered another way. This should be a basic service that we can count on and it isn't.

112 Cynthia KernThis post office station is by far the worst I have ever used, in terms of insufficient staffing and lack of services.

120 AnonymousThe service is lousy. They make very little effort to deliver packages. You have to trudge down yourself. The lines typically take an hour or more. The staff is rude. They rarely call a supervisor and most windows are never fully staffed. There is no one processing package pickup and no one to just answer questions. The supervisor a gentleman with a thin moustache is downright mean.He enjoys making people wait, berating them and refusing to be helpful. They don't have many of the services that you see at other branches. Close them down and start from scratch!!!

125 George&Anne BachmannWe never go to Kensington PO in person, but live in the zip code and are happy to support any improvement regarding delivery to wrong address (frequent at our home), and all other problems our neighbors are having.
126 Daniel SoyerUnfortunately, service has only gotten worse since Councilman de Blasio wrote his letter.

130 jason gonskythe Kensington Post Office is woefully underserving the area's residents. There are not enough workers in the office to serve the residents and they are surly and rude and poorly managed. Please help us.

135 AnonymousThis post office is unbelievably bad. We had the good fortune to live by the Greenpoint (11222) p.o. for 10 years, with friendly, respectful staff; quick service; knowledgeble staff in the lobby answering questions; automated lobby machines; correct mail delivery. NONE of this happens here in 11218. There is *always* an enormous line; the employees stand around, seemingly on perpetual break, while only one window is open. There are signs up with incorrect and conflicting information. If a customer has the patience (and no other obligations) to wait til they reach the single open window, the staff is rude and ignorant. Why is this so difficult to correct? Fire the postmaster and replace them with someone from one of the many functioning p.o.s. The little storefront off Bartel Pritchard square seems to be well run, but it has very limited service. Maybe promote the manager of that place....
136 Shea HoveyKensington is so terrible that my business moved to another neighborhood and post office so that we could actually send and receive mail.
137 Mark A VarousWe have lived in 11218 for 10 years and the postal service has always been poor. Though we have tried to provide feedback to the station, we have never been treated well by the postal workers and our problems continue unabated.

139 jonathan dahanThis post office is absolutely a disgrace to the postal service. the workers are discourteous, and lazy. I have never been on a line that has been less than an hour in this miserable place. The workers don't go postal here, the customers do. Please reorganize it.
140 AnonymousPlease help. This Post Office is the least efficient I have ever experienced. Thanks.

142 Sharon M. GoldmanThe Kensington Station post office in the 11218 zip code is the worst I have ever seen. Lines are always up to one hour long, and I have been told I have to wait even just to pick up a package. Staff is unbelievably rude, surly and unhelpful. The manager there -- I wish I knew his name! -- seems to run his branch as the king of his little fiefdom. He helps people that he knows but hides behind his partition from anyone else who dares ask a question. I'm doing everything I can to use the post office as little as possible, even though I run my own business out of my home.

145 robert kimmelI've already written a personal letter to your office. Thank you.
146 Kathleen IvansThe staff at the Kensington Station is usually rude or unresponsive. I have asked to speak to a supervisor who also behaved rudely. The lines are excessively long. My route has not had a regular deliverer in 20 years( Vanderbilt St & McDonald Ave.)! I have met countless people who never reapppear. They tell me the route is too long an no one wants it.
