2 Patrick ClarkeI was there today. Horrible service. Unresponsive supervisor. Same as it ever was.

10 AnonymousThis post office is understaffed and the lines are incredibly long. I feel awful for anyone wanting to pick up a package (I have never had to do so, thank goodness) because they are standing in line for a ridiculous amount of time. Mothers with small children and the elderly make it particularly sad. It's a shame really, how people there are treated and made to wait. I've stopped using it, and haul whatever it is I need to mail (regardless of size of weight) into midtown Manhattan, because those POs are far more efficient. Thanks for taking the time to look into this, we need better service for everyone in the neighborhood.

13 V. TorresWhat is more important than receiving your mail promptly and knowing that it will safely reach you--especially when personal information or the occasional gift is arriving? The neighborhood is growing rapidly. The post office must too to meet the needs of a larger population.

15 Melyssa DavisPlease improve the service at this busy station. It is terrible!
16 AnonymousI dread going to the current PO where 1 or maybe 2 of the windows are open and the line wraps around the lobby.
17 Danielle KolkerYes, please, the Kensington post office on McDonald Avenue is completely overwhelmed!
18 Abe ZubarevI have used this post office for almost 20 years and the service is substandard to say the least. Please improve the quality of service and reduce the wait-time. Many thanks.

22 Meghan HayesWe need improvements at this post office. I dread going there because I know it will be an ordeal, time after time. (I resorted to doing all my mailings at Mailboxes Etc. near my job even though it's more expensive) Fights, unmanned windows, empty stamp machines. It's unbelieveable how poorly this P.O. is run. I don't think a Park Slope post office would ever be this intolerable, and Kensington has been ignored for too long.
23 Allison MakeI live around the corner from the post office (on 12th Ave), so I was quite excited when I moved in to learn of the proximity of my local post office. That excitement evaporated after my first visit. This place is a total nightmare! No matter what day of the week, what time of day, there is always a ridiculously long wait - and it always seems that there's only one, maybe 2, staff people! This place really needs an overhaul.

32 Geraldine IvinsA substation or an automated mail center in the lobby of the existing station would be of great benefit to a crowded, poorly run station. Congestion, long lines, and poor service are the rule rather than the exception.

40 liam mccarthyThe kensington station is the worst. I have lived in various neighborhoods in brooklyn, and my wife manhattan, the bronx, and brooklyn, and we agree - it's almost beyond belief just how terribly it functions. Plus, they routinely lose mail to the point where we don't think it's safe to use the local drop boxes and take our mail to work in manhattan to mail it from there. Pathetic and enraging.
41 Dean PanayidesI think it is about time that the post office in our neighborhood improves its service and I am glad that someone agrees with me.

49 Kristine EkmanThe service and amenities at the Kensington station are awful. I have already complained to my local city councilmen. The postal workers are slow, rude, and inconsiderate of the elderly population. They should be ashamed!
50 AnonymousPlease, please! It is never a pleasant experience going to the current station, and it never takes less than an hour to get a package. For my family this is high priority. Thank you.
