Support the creation of an enclosed, off-leash exercise park for dogs and their owners at the proposed site at Petrifying Springs Park in Kenosha. Such an area would provide a place for dogs to socialize with other dogs and get much needed exercise off-leash, and for dog owners in the community to meet who have a love for dogs. It would provide a place for our dogs to run free without affecting others who prefer to remain free of dogs. By signing this petition, I certify that I am a supporter of a dog park, and will allow the Kenosha Parks for Dogs Committee to use your name for gaining support from city and county officials.
You can also go to the official Kenosha Dog Paws Organizations website to print and sign a Letter of Support for the off-leash dog park proposed site at Petrifying Springs. The letters of support will also be presented to the County officials before their committee meeting this Fall.

The Kenosha Dog Paws Organization, (Dog Parks Across Wisconsin Supporters) has been established by a group of Kenosha residents interested in supporting the establishment of an off-leash dog park in Kenosha.
Our main goal is to gather community support and create awareness of the concept and benefits of an enclosed, off-leash space for dogs and their owners to socialize and exercise together.
We have seen a positive response from Kenosha residents and Kenosha County officials have responded with interest.
The Kenosha Dog Paws Organization is committed to building a strong community of responsible dog owners, and maintaining good relationships with related organizations. |
