111 Five Points has a great atmosphere as it is. Big expenditures for the benefit of a few businesses at the expense of the many citizens is a crime agaainst the integrity of the City of Columbia. This is only done to benefit the few wealthy businessmen.

113 Five points is fine the way it is. There is no need for a two story garage. I say take the meters away.

115 The building is too high for 5 Points, just look at the new condo bldg on Blossom St. Do you want that height in 5 Points? Nobody likes parking garages anyway just find some more space for parking lots.

121 This projest is too tall and too much mass for the location. Please reconsider. Thank you.

124 Bad idea, bad location, bad review of alternatives and consequences.
125 As a nearby resident I am strongly opposed to 6-story building at this site and question the legality of the process to date.
126 If Columbia maintains that it is a "green" city with hopes of becoming a "bicycle friendly city" and a mass transit city, why is it constantly pushing for more parking garages? This is totally the opposite of what should be happening in Five Points. How about a pedestrian mall on Saluda with cafes in the streets instead of cars? Where is our creative, innovative and green leadership?? Thank you.

134 I am ok with them build a 4 storys building. Please move the parking garage to Greene street. Near the railroad track and hotel. This will be the best place for a parking garage.

138 This is an appalling project that takes no account of the character and design of the neighborhood, or the very real fiscal and physical complications of the proposal. Build a six story building over a stream. Fools!

140 As a property owner, it is in my self serving best interest to promote the kenny project. As a native citizen, neighbor and business owner, I must oppose it as it will forever change the 5 points in a way that ruins the feel, creates more traffic congestion, and puts residents at odds with visitors to 5 Points. Downtown has been ruined by the removal of low lying buildings, replaced with behomoths. Now we see retail leaving downtown and the area becoming even more desolate. Should we do this to 5 Points?

146 I am in full agreement with this petition, and would rather see 5 Points turned into a pedestrian mall than have this eyesore plunked down in the middle of it.
