gwen mason | The death penalty is in the best of circumstances and with clear indications of guilt, arbitrarily applied. It should be completely abolished.

Benjamin | It is a travesty of justice that prosecutors need convictions to "advance" their careers in the legal system, even at the expense of innocent lives. It is, however, even worse when those who have advanced are now expected to impartially overhear a case they previously tried and possibly overturn their own convictions. It is highly unlikely that this case will not be fettered by the past and is therefore biased and unfair. This trial, now overturned twice, showed at the very least be given a new venue and judge.

Paul Ackerley | I'm British - US justice is on trial here. At present, if charged with a crime, I would prefer to receive a trial under Saudi jurisdiction than US.

j.v.jennings | there has obviously been a miscarriage of justice in this case it needs to be put right in the fairest way possible.
nadège | i join to you
Sue May | Kenny should be released immediately. It is unreasonable for him to have to face yet another retrial!! He has fought this injustice with much courage and the least that can be offered him now is to be allowed to try and find his life again.

John A. Pizer | Please give Kenny what he is entitled to under the US constitution, a fair trial, in a fair venue, under a fair prosecutor, and a fair judge. That will be hard to get in the corrupt legal system in Ohio, but this case warrants the exception of fairness. Kenny is truly innocent.
Iain MacLellan | A change of venue is the least that should be expected to ensure that another miscarriage of justice is not suffered by Kenny Richie!
elizabeth norris |
Paige Lovelace | We must give Kenny the justice he dessrves. Change the Venue of the retrial because it is the only way the trial will be fair.
Bharat Malkani |
Anonymous | I would agree that a different venue be agreed - at the end of the day - eveyone wants justice - and from both a proscecuters and defendants perspective - the measures should be put in place to ensure a fair trial for eveyone concerned - both victim and perpretrator (or judged not perpretrator).

Zoe Lowrie |
| 350 | Peggy Salisbury | Please, please, please, a re-trial for Kenny Richey
as soon as possible and in another Courtroom. He is an innocent man. |
