253 ROBERTA GOLDENI AM VERY SURPRISED THAT THE WEALTHY FOLKS AT LATIN WILL GET THEIR WAY. WE NEED A SOCCER FIELD LIKE WE NEED A TOOTHACHE.

267 Anonymousbetween Lincoln Park (the soccer field), Grant Park (the Childen's Museum proposal) and the very unpatriotic July 3rd celebration I am in a constant state of outrage at the powers who attempt to rule this city against the wishes and welfare of so many.

270 AnonymousProtect Our Parks sued to halt construction and the Illinois Appellate Court agreed. The field should be returned to the way it was before the illegal construction project started. To allow the project to be completed would give the parties who made the secret deal exactly what they wanted in the first place.

272 Alex ShibickyWhat the Park District is doing is immoral and illegal. They need to be stopped!
273 Monika ShibickyThe Park District is out of control and severely mis-managed.
274 leslie edwardsI agree with everything you say. Your summary does not take into account, however, the extra noise and congestion building this facility would create for people who live next to the park. When I purchased MY home here 30+ years ago I thought we had parkland in front of it, not Atlantic City which this area is turning into with all the activities at the beach, concerts with loud music in the park, etc. This will be just one more thing to detract from the natural peace and quiet we once had in our neighborhood

282 Tim MoritzI have lived in Lincoln Park for eight years. I have recently purchased a new house in Lincoln Park as well. Our beautiful parks and neighborhoods are the reason I live here and want to live here in the future. These natural sites need to be maintained and preserved. Underhanded deals to sell public land to private investors is a crime against the people and the city. Thank you all for your hard work. Keep doing what you are doing.
283 Lowell KrischerI run in this area every week and I really want this needless eyesore removed and restored to legitimate green space. If a soccer field is to be built, build it where there is currently a lack of facilities for under served citizens of the city.

296 JEAN BUCCHIANERIMAYOR DALEY - - THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!! CITY PLANNING & THE PARK DISTRIST (WITH YOUR APPROVAL I'M SURE) ARE MAKING OUR CITY IMPOSSIBLE TO LIVE & MOVE AROUND IN....WE NEED OUR SPACE AS DOES THE REST OF THE CITY - - THE LAKE FRONT EXTENDS FROM NORTH TO SOUTH - NOT JUST A COUPLE ARE SECTIONS....REMOVE THE SOCCER FIELD NOW!!!!WE HAVE THE AIR SHOW (4 DAYS), THE BASEBALL DIAMONDS, 2 ART SHOWS, THE GREEN CITY MAKETS (2 DAYS EACH WEEK END), PLUSE EACH WEEK END PICNICS/GATHERINGS ON STOCKTON BETWEEN CLARK (NOISE OF SPEAKERS, DRUMS).....STRANGE YOU CHOOSE NOT TO LIVE IN THE ENVIORNMENT - YET YOU WANT US TOO! THE HEAD OF THE PARK DISTRICT LIVES ON CLEVELAND OFF OF FULLERTON - HE DOES NOT WANT THE ENVIORNMENT EITHER..... REMOVE THE SOCCER FIELD NOW - WE ARE PAYING FOR IT BOTH WAYS (LEGAL FEES) + LOOSING ALL THAT PLUS OUR PRIVACY - - WE PAY FOR THAT LIKE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE - - SOCCER FIELDS ARE FURTHER NORTH - SO MOVE THIS ONE THERE!!!!!
