| 2984 | Gayle McCrossin | As a neuroscience clinical research registered nurse I provide care for clinical research participants involved in neuroscience protocols. Many of the participants suffer with conditions such as impaired spatial orientation, postural ataxia, impaired sensorimotor function, and impaired visual vestibular conditions. The research protocols and experiments that are performed in space allow clinical researchers critical insight into the neurological problems that exist on Earth. Mike Griffin has directed NASA with impeccable leadership that has established and promoted the necessary international collaborations that are necessary to continue space exploration and neuroscience research in space. I commend him on his expertise that he brings to NASA and to the world, and I hope that NASA and scientific research will be allowed to prosper under his continued leadership.
